We bought a 25 year old home that needed some updating to give us a more contemporary home. We interviewed three different contractors and two of them highly recommended we work with Jennifer Bell of Enotive Design. Jennifer was invaluable as she designed a very functional, well laid out, modern kitchen. She took us to see and help select our counter tops, appliances and all the hardware. Her selection and design of the cabinets was critical to the overall ambiance of the kitchen. At completion of the kitchen, we asked her to design and help us upgrade our powder room, guest bathroom, master bathroom and a new wine bar with a large cabinet highlighting our wine glasses and beer stein collection. Lastly, we asked her to design a new contemporary fireplace that changed the whole look of our family room. Jennifer is very communicative and promptly answers calls and text messages and visiting the house to discuss design concepts. She follows through on ordering everything from the cabinets, stone for the counter tops, appliances and all the hardware. We could not have done without her guidance and design expertise. My wife and I highly recommend her to anyone wanting a great design and assistance in upgrading their home and with guiding your contractor to achieve a beautiful outcome.

We met with Jennifer from Evotive and as soon as she left both my husband and I knew she would be the one we would hire to design our new kitchen. At one of our first meetings Jennifer listened to us and was able to understand our vision to transform our 2001 orange oak builder grade kitchen into our dream kitchen. We could not be happier with the transformation Jen created in our home. We wanted to brighten up our 90s dark, oak-filled house and make it more comfortable and modern. Our goal was for new flooring, doors, an updated kitchen, fireplaces and stair railing. We were introduced to Jennifer by our contractor James O’Brien of James O’Brien Contractors. James was going to do a bathroom remodel and we had Jennifer do the design. Not only did we love the design we also appreciated that Jennifer gave us choices without overwhelming us. She sat down with us, discussed our needs, colors, etc then came up with a nice selection for us to choose from. During the construction we made a couple of changes and were pleased with an “ of course we can do that” attitude. James’ crew were great to work with. Truly professional and left the job site immaculate each night. The whole job went seamlessly and couldn’t be more pleased with the result.

We have a 1920 Spanish colonial home that is full of character, charm and beauty. The previous owners added a bedroom suite and gym area to the back of the home and it was very hard to work with. The bedroom was a large square that swallowed our king size bed and I found it hard to decorate or make cohesive in any way. I was very excited to work with a professional to come up with a game plan for how to make this room not only beautiful, but practical! Jenn spent some time in the space and quickly came up with a fantastic solution. As a homeschooling family of 3 (oldest 17 youngest 7) we were in need of a second family room. What if we moved our master into the "gym" room with its tall ceilings and turned the giant cube room into livable, beautiful space? What followed was weeks of going over plans, budget, style, etc. I appreciated Jenn's willingness to work with our budget and our needs. As a homeschooler, we needed a giant built in for storage and to frame a tv - so she designed one! And she understood I would rather have $$ go to a table than to an expensive piece of art. We ended up with a gorgeous 2nd family room with huge couch, tv with tiled wall behind it. amazing built in that holds everything we need including a coffee station, and design elements that tie the room to the spanish style of the front of the house. She even helped create a corner for my youngest's school area and we use it every day. She also created a peaceful oasis for our master room that is better than what I had going on in every way! If you hire Jenn, you hire someone that is clearly skilled, experienced and gifted at what she does - you also get a mom, who understands the reality of a home and a budget. Having never before done a renovation / remodel, and then going all in with projects that required new flooring, electrical, plumbing, an entire primary bathroom/closet redesign, fireplace rebuild, and more, I can honestly say we couldn't have done it as successfully without Jennifer Bell. I can’t imagine completing the three bathroom remodel without the help of Jen. She was there to guide me every step of the way since I had never worked with a designer before. She clearly explained what her role was, advised on hiring a general contractor, and worked/reworked mockups at the beginning. She listened to what I was thinking but brought the design to a whole new level. She knows what the latest trends are and how to bring them together while making it clean and personal to me. She was great at proposing items and found alternatives if I didn’t love the options. Ordering items and invoicing was super easy. Jennifer was referred to me by a friend who had her bathroom remodeled. Once I contacted her, she was very quick to respond back and set up an initial meeting. Jennifer had great ideas and sources for accessories you don’t see every day. Before we got started on our bathroom remodel, I completely change my mind on what I wanted to do. Jennifer pivoted very quickly and sourced different materials for me. I’m extremely happy with the end result. Would I recommend her? Yes I would. Jennifer did a wonderful job helping us select and install new floors, paint (including kitchen and bathroom cabinets), bathroom tiles and shower, fireplace tiles and design new built in shelves and cabinets and a kitchen island. Jen had partnered with us on every home project we took on since we moved into our home a few years ago. She helped us furnish our entire first floor, installed custom cabinets and shelving in our family room, remodeled our primary bed and bath as well as our guest bathroom. She has excellent communication and project management skills, so we always knew what was happening or decisions that needed to get made to make forward progress. She drove all the ordering and delivery of materials, to ensure that her action items were never the hold-up in getting the job done. We had challenges with our General Contractor and it was Jennifer that really kept the project going -- answered our calls, tracked down lacking info (far beyond her scope) and saw it all the way through to the very end, to make sure we were satisfied. She is great at listening to my needs and understands my style, but then makes recommendations I wouldn't have thought of -- really taking the beauty and functionality of the spaces she designed up a notch. Having never worked with a design company, I was very fortunate to find Jennifer’s company, Enotive Design Group. I brought Jennifer in to help with design and procurement of our Division President's office. We're a civil contractor and tend to keep pretty low profile decor in our office as you can see from the "Before" pic attached. I asked Jennifer to balance that subtlety with an upscale look befitting an executive. What she delivered was perfect! It was exactly what we wanted without even knowing what it was that we wanted! The office is stylish, comfortable and welcoming. Jen sourced the custom desk and credenza at a much lower price that I had previously been quoted and it is gorgeous! She created a seating area that my boss loves to utilize and created a photo wall that represents some of our showpiece jobs. Since then, we've hired Jen for another conference room and a training room (in progress). She is a pleasure to work with, flexible, responsive and delivers a design that shows she listens to her customer.

Jen was a TREMENDOUS designer and all around project manager for our full-house remodel. A friend recommended Enotive. I wasn't sure I wanted to hire a design company, so I started with a free consultation. We had a brand new home. I needed help decorating and furnishing and wasn't quite sure where to start. Jen listened to what style and design elements I liked best and then took care of all the shopping and research to find the finishing details. Everything looks perfect and flows together beautifully throughout the house. She was really great at recommending and implementing design elements that I would have never chosen on my own, and it has given our house that wow factor! Jennifer recently helped us with the remodeling project for two bathrooms and a living room. Everything was desperately in need of updating, and the bathrooms both needed reconfiguring with a more functional layout. She was instrumental in helping us with that process since she created a 3D mock-up of the space before making any changes. Once we decided on the design, she took care of selecting (while staying under our budget) and finding the best places to purchase all the finishing materials. Enotive helped us transform our 70s kitchen into an open and airy floor plan. We weren't sure what the best layout for our kitchen, dining, family room space and didn't want to just blindly jump into remodeling without being able to see the area planned out ahead of time. We worked with Jennifer on the project, and she listened to what we wanted in the space and kept our budget in mind. The 3D rendering helped us play with the design and see what we were getting before making any changes. We ended up with a beautifully updated kitchen, very open and bright floor plan. Our favorite element was removing the smaller kitchen window and patio slider to create a large slider that can open up the entire wall.
