Beverly, that’s what my intuition was...that it looks like how it would come out of the ground and since it’s a decent size with tall ceilings- that may be the route to go. Pics help! Thanks all!

IMO it depends a lot on the style of the bathroom and hopefully you are doing the floor the same tile so that would also have to be considered. My first thought is horizontal since IMO vertical will accentuate the high ceiling in a smaller space.

Patricia- yes flooring in bathroom is same tile and the flooring in the shower is the same tile in small squares. The bathroom has a slight modern edge but not very modern. Simple shaker style cabs painted in darkest gray(SW Iron Ore) just clean minimal lines.

Beautiful tile. If it's really marble, just make sure somebody has explained the logistical implications of that to you before you commit -- sealing and delicate handling...

acm-It’s not marble. Wouldn’t have it due to that very reason!Everything in this new build is designed to be low maintenance. It is porcelain ceramic tile and it’s turning out so good! Thanks so much.

I’m the pics of it horizontal looks like the tile people laid it out so they veining lines up. Do you have to ensure that before putting in the wall?
