Filling Spaces by Deepali Kalia

I purchased two pillows from their online store, but one of them sagged at the bottom on the very first day. I fluffed it several times within the first hour of having them, but the sagging persisted. Frustrated by the poor quality, I emailed the company to request a return. Unfortunately, the owner's response was very rude. Instead of addressing my concern, she suggested that I have a tutorial with her on how to "fluff" a pillow. It seems that other customers have also complained about the quality of these pillows. If a pillow sags and feels uncomfortable, there is nothing decorative about it. In summary, the quality is very poor. I suggest buyers be cautious when considering these pillows; there are many better options available at this price point that don't sag.

Terrible customer service. What I got is nothing like what I ordered. Super dark and muddied. Refused to offer a refund or exchange. Super strict return policy even though they were in the wrong. Buyer beware!

If ordering online, please be aware of this company's strict return policy and short time window in which to do so.

I worked with Deepali Kalia to create custom bedding for my client. I was able to design my own quilting pattern and have it made into a one-of-a-kind quilt. The silks are beautiful and everything is high quality and well made. My client loves her bedding!

I have had the pleasure of working with Deepali on several projects and as a designer I like to focus on detail, quality and bringing something to my client that is unique to them. Deepali is a fantastic help and resource; I never have to worry about the quality and detail because I know that it will be the best and she is always willing to make suggestions which will make the finished product even better.

Deepali and her beautiful business, Filling Spaces, is my go to for colorful, stylish and unique home decor items and linens. She can help you to design your own custom window treatments as well as suggest the perfect throw pillow to round out the design of your space. Her cheerful disposition and eagerness to help makes your experience warm and gratifying. Her shop is a destination that I highly reccomend!

Deepali at Filling Spaces is one of the most creative people I know, and a wonderful resource for textiles of all kinds, particularly silks. I have had her fabricate stunningly gorgeous draperies for clients, and now that she has a retail space, I will be going there frequently for accessories--pillows, throws, inlaid furniture, as well as jewelry, handbags, and scarves. She is also a delightful person to work with--enthusiastic and knowledgeable. I highly recommend her.

Filling Spaces has been an invaluable resource for our design projects. We love the custom fabrics and color possibilities Deepali and her team offer. Our clients appreciate that their windows, pillows and/or bedding are custom to their project, and won't be seen elsewhere in the marketplace. As a lover of color, I thoroughly enjoy being able to draw up ideas, patterns and thread colors and see my ideas made to order. We are grateful to have such a special offering for our client projects.
