Green Goods

We are fortunate to have a company like Green Goods in our town. They are pioneers in bringing interior ecofriendly interior products and finishes to our area. Owned by two brothers, Mikel and Brian Robertson, they combine a passion for creating artful and beautiful interior finishes, tile, countertops, flooring, doors and cabinetry with a dedication to protect the environment sustainably with superior green materials and craftsmanship. Along with Mikel and Brian the sales staff and designers are equally dedicated to promoting beautiful earth- friendly products and services which makes Green Goods a pleasure to work with. Green Goods has helped Cullen Construction Inc., achieve superlative results and happy clients on many of our projects.

From the vision to the finished project, the team at Green Goods took my 1990's Master Bath away and replaced it with a work of art that I will be pleased to enjoy for years to come. The journey began in the showroom, as I discovered a display of the most beautiful carmelized bamboo cabinets with a unique edge detail that I was drawn to. I had been to local home improvement stores and other kitchen cabinet shops looking for something special, but no luck. These cabinets would serve to be the foundation pieces for the Zen look I desired. Brian, the artist and cabinet maker, and his partner Mikel, and Heather, the designer all worked in tandem to see my vision through and attack any construction or design dilemmas along the way. Deconstruction and construction took a bit more time than originally budgeted for, but the tile was on back order which caused the delay. Otherwise the team of subs and the Green Goods workers arrived promptly, as expected all along the way. I have built two other homes, so I am not new to the process. That is why I have to give this company kudos for a job well executed.

It was wonderful working with Green Goods on a recent tenant improvement project for a new office. Green Goods provided terrific carpet with recycled content and stranded bamboo flooring as well. Green Goods was able to deliver on the tenant's (GSA, a Federal agency) requirements for sustainable surfaces, while also meeting the building owner's need for affordability. They even assisted with interior design and are a pleasure to work with. I look forward to our next project together!
