HOME DESIGN: I’ve been designing (and consulting on) custom homes and additions since 2001; and have worked with hundreds of clients and home owners just like you. My design experience will systematically guide you through your project, even when you have difficulty expressing your ideas. I can see possibilities and find solutions that you may not otherwise consider. It's my goal to simplify the design process and make it an enjoyable experience. Please read a few past client reviews to see what others have said. CUSTOM: Every lot, every view, and every client is different, and so is every home I’ve designed. This is likely the reason you’ve had difficulty finding plans online that “check all the boxes”. Discussing a new project with a client (I feel) is my strong suit. I pride myself in paying attention. I take notes and ask thoughtful questions to help drill down to the essence of what my client is communicating. This conversation results in a very specific list of “must haves” for the project. It’s then my aim to come back with a design that incorporates ALL of those desires. The majority of our projects have been in the 2,000 — 5,000 square foot range, but we’ve done larger and smaller homes as well. The set of construction drawings that I provide are typically referred to as a “builder’s set”. These plans have all the information that most building municipalities require in a set of blueprints. I’ve completed projects for people in many states. While I’m based in New Castle PA, and the majority of my work is in the greater Pittsburgh area, I’ve also been designing beach houses along the Florida panhandle since 2001.
