Golden State Gardens

We came in with some plant and layout ideas, and Bianca adapted to our project needs— a low water, mostly CA native landscape that mirrored our love of the scenery we see on Bay Area hikes. She quickly provided expert guidance and new ideas, materials suggestions and alternate plants to better meet our practical and aesthetic goals, contractor recommendations, etc. It’s only been 3 months since installation, but already it’s provided my husband and I so much daily joy to see the yard brimming with bees, hummingbirds, and monarch butterflies. We loved working with her and would absolutely recommend!

We recently completed our front yard project, with Bianca Vallorz, of Golden State Gardens. We worked with Bianca to convert our front yard to a drought tolerant landscape. Bianca is a knowledgable, creative, landscape designer. Bianca is easy to work with and effectively collaborated with us every step of the way. Bianca took our inputs as well as making suggestions from landscape design to completion of our project within budget and expectations. Bianca was also knowledgeable of the SCVWD water rebate program and provided required plant lists and plans for rebate submittal. Bianca works with Landscape Companies, who brought the project from design to reality and she personally came out on several occasions to oversee the planting and landscape. Bianca did an excellent job with not only the Design, but also her personal attention to ensuring the project was successful and within our budget! We would highly recommend Bianca Vallorz, of Golden State Gardens for any Landscaping Design and yard conversions.

We wanted to add more curb appeal, interest, and functionality to our front yard, but we didn't have any idea what that would look like. Bianca was able to take our vague statements about what we like and incorporate the current look/color of our house into a cohesive design. I'm not very imaginative, but Bianca was able to present the vision for the yard in a very clear way that made it easy for me to understand what it would look like. She also was very conscientious about what was possible given our budget. She has exceptional attention to detail and was very communicative, making it easy for us to move forward with the design.
