I am HA Architecture's Photographer, and I had a great time shooting with Jamie. Jamie is a easy person to communicate with and he's not afraid to tell me what he wants. When Two artists can collaborate and meet in the middle you make gold. Jamie will stick to the project from the start to the end even if he forgets to eat. Jamie deserves five stars just for so patiently handling my husband (a non-practicing architect) like a champ. Seriously though, Jamie is extremely customer service-oriented and easy to work with. We just completed a major renovation/addition on our 1937 craftsman house -- we went from a 2/2 with 1400-ish sq ft to a 4/3 with 2800-ish sq ft , plus a detached double garage with a 550 sq ft garage apartment. The end result is gorgeous. The original house still feels warm and cozy and retains its craftsman charm, while the new addition smartly contrasts with its more modern, yet complementary features. We specifically wanted the contrast of old and new, done in a way that is striking, but not to the extent it falls out of balance with feel of the rest of the neighborhood. Since being back in the house, we've had neighbors and random passers-by alike comment on how much they love the transformation. Jamie was also an incredible asset when we experienced one of those worst-case scenarios with our first contractor. With my husband's background in construction and architecture, we thought we wouldn't need much help after construction started, and did not plan to engage Jamie in a high level of construction management. After experiencing unforeseeable and irreconcilable issues with our first contractor, we determined the best way forward was with a new contractor. Jamie was able to use his professional connections and help us find another contractor willing to complete the job, which is really hard to do in this market. Even changing horses mid-race, Jamie's construction documents and project management allowed us to complete the job really close to our original budget (less than 3% over budget).

Jamie and team did an amazing job on our Northwest Hills home addition. He took our 1 story-ranch style home and added an 1000 square foot second story. The addition looks seamless, unlike the many additions you see that look obvious or out of place. Jamie has a great eye for design and attention to detail (window placement, pop-out seats, under-stair nook, etc.) He is also a pleasure to work with. He listens well, asks the right questions, and really knows how to partner with his clients. Our project was ahead of schedule, and even though we encountered a few bumps in the road regarding permits with the city, Jamie hopped in and problem solved. We couldn't be happier with our new home and would recommend Jamie to anyone looking to do a new construction, home addition or remodel.

I enjoyed working with Jamie Crawley and his team. . He was very professional and fun. We met every week during the project and he was always was prepared with ideas and solutions. When a few suppliers and venders were a tad uncooperative, he was great at getting results. He was also very responsive with all my questions and although I know I wasn't the only project, he always acted like I was!

We have had the pleasure of collaborating with HA Architecture on a few projects. They provide extremely detailed and well thought out construction documentation. On the rare occasion that design questions arise, they approach solutions as a team with the clients and builders. All of our projects together have resulted in well built designs and happy clients.

My wife and I have been working with Jamie and his studio on our home addition for a long time. Jamie was very patient as we worked through multiple design iterations. Jamie is a good collaborator and encourages participation in the design process. During permitting, Jamie was invaluable. He guided the project through the City's review process and knew how to get things done. Jamie has good industry contacts and helped us with contractor selection. We recently broke ground and I'm very excited to see this project take shape.
