The Stearns team designed a built an outdoor office for us, and we couldn't be happier with it. Since this project was a bit of a splurge for us, we had a limited budget, and the designers were extremely helpful in coming up with ways to cut down the cost while keeping the features we really wanted. The quality of the construction was excellent. Highly recommend.

Stearns Design Build completely remodeled our kitchen. This was a big project, and they did a great job. We started with the design phase, which took a while to get it just right. Their designers were patient and very helpful. Construction took about six weeks. The crew was thoughtful, protecting the rest of the house, and did excellent work. We are thrilled with the results.

This is our 4th remodel with Stearns. Their project manager Jimmie was very polite and always responded quickly to our questions. Although a small project to correct drainage problems at the front entrance to our home, Stearns took it on willingly. They found a simple solution and talked with us throughout the project when challenges arose. They found the least intrusive way to improve our entry way and worked efficiently.

Stearns replaced siding and windows on gable ends of my home. Water penetration and condensation behind the siding needed to be remedied. They researched solutions to solving the problem and made a mock-up of the final plan, which was so helpful for my understanding. Skilled craftsmen, efficient and personable. Always willing to answer questions, and update me with the progress. Jobsite was always kept clean and organized. Coordination with other contractors was excellent. Professional, organized and provided clear communication throughout the construction process.

Stearns Design Build remodeled the master bath in our 1970's home.The project included replacing a tub and shower with just a glassed-in shower, knocking out a wall to install a large picture window, and replacing a vanity cabinet and adding an additional sink. They gave invaluable ideas and suggestions throughout the design phase. During the construction phase they went to great efforts to keep dust and debris limited to the construction area. They stayed in close contact with us and kept us informed each step of the way. The finished product met all our expectations. This was the second time we had worked with this company on a project in our home and will not hesitate to do so for any future remodeling.

Stearns built a sunroom/den for us with central air and central heat with a fireplace. It is both functional and beautiful. They did a superb job.

Stearns designed and built a house, shop, and an open pole barn for my wife and I. All interactions and communications were professional and accurate. The design process was excellent with a view toward the best functionality and value. There were many opportunities to discuss pros and cons of various layouts and materials of construction. The process included selections for everything in the house and there were no (none) surprises at the end where basic things like light fixtures turned out to be "not included". The build process included weekly status communications and clear communication around changes--no doing something and then an unexpected cost adder. All change costs were dealt with up front in a professional way. It became clear to my wife and I that Stearns intended to deliver everything under the contract in a complete and quality fashion. There were some issues at the end concerning consistent operation of the automatic gate to the property. It took several months but this was dealt with to our complete satisfaction. At the close of our home contract, we asked Stearns to build a small floating dock on our pond, which they did for a very reasonable price. We are more than satisfied with the work by Stearns and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
