We strongly recommend AVA construction for their quality, cost and project timing. We worked with them for a fairly big project to add ~900sqft and remodel 2000+ sqft of our house. Price was the best among multiple quotes we received. Tens of thousands of dollars less than others. Time-wise, the contract was for 6months and it took only a few weeks more than 6 months, considering the order changes we had along the way, they basically finished the project on time. Quality of the work was better than our expectation. There were a few minor issues which we noticed after the project and Kamran sent his guys to fix them immediately. Overall, we were very happy with their service. Mazi who usually manages the project finishing was such a nice and reasonable person. It felt very good to discuss our finishing with him and get his opinion which was very helpful. As a result, we strongly recommend them. We would definitely use them for our next project.

We will highly recommend Ava Construction again. Ava delivered as promised on quality construction. Construction was swift in progress once the permits were issued. In terms of construction costs, it was all made clear upfront; any additional costs were due to our extra requests once the construction started, and they were very reasonable. We had used Ava for our previous home's remodel and we felt very confident in going with Ava for our new home construction as well, as we trusted Kamran and Mazi. There were understandably some glitches as in any large construction project, and in such cases, we could trust them to make the right decision on our behalf without compromising the quality.

After almost 5 years completion of home remodel project, we still recall Kamran many times during our discussions and I still hear postive comments from friends and families when they visit our home. Kamran did an awesome job with reasonable price. I have faced NO issue with Kamran before or during or after the project. Kamran maintained good quality and always gave us right suggestions, does not look whether benefit him or not. He even went above and beyond and did few additional things without asking additinal payment. We don't treat Kamran as a contractor instead we still feel him as a friend. If I need home construction work in future Kamran will be the first person I would reach.

We had our house significantly remodeled by AVA. Before selecting AVA, I spoke to 10 of their past clients and found everyone very happy. We had a chance to tour a number of houses that he had redone. In the years following our remodel, two more houses in our neighborhood were done by Kamram and the clients came by our house to get ideas for their remodel. They were also very pleased with Kamran's work. Our one story house was knocked down to the foundation, and then rebuilt as a two story home. AVA took care of the design, permits and helped with the selection of items and colors. Usually you hear owners complain about stress of a remodel, but in our case, we would call AVA again if ever needed to do it again. The construction is very well done. We had a native German visitor who told us recently, "Wow this house is built better than those in Germany!", a real compliment to AVA's choice of materials and workmanship. And the inside with beautiful -- high ceilings, nicely done stair case, etc. Our designer was Hamed from BODesign who did a great job too!! The two worked well together as a team.

Kamran and the AVA crew bring a human touch to the entire remodeling and building. They are professional, listen to the clients and give us excellent direction to achieve what we really want out of the remodel. We had a 2200 sq ft rebuild and we are thankful and the project is above and beyond our expectations. They have the commitment to follow through any issues that might come in during the process without losing sight of the end goal and the customer satisfaction. We are happy to hire Kamran and AVA for any future projects.

Kamran is a wonderful contractor. He has the best crew which are detailed oriented. He did a wonderful job with our remodeling. I highly recommend him to anybody who wants a job well done in a timely manner. His fees are reasonable and he does not change them on you like others do. If you have any change in the scope of your work, he makes it reasonable and affordable. The outcome is always great and he makes things to your satisfaction.

I've hired Kamran for three separate jobs! There was turning a small useless area into an awesome office space, remodeling our entire kitchen and dining rooms and finally adding on an additional master suite and changing the entire front of our home. Each time the quality and professionalism has remained all we could ask for. He and his employees are a pleasure to work with!

Originally we asked for a quote on updating and repairing our bathroom and kitchen; upon further consultation with Kamran, with his suggestions and planning and redesign, we decided on a whole house remodel. Our house was literally transformed with a much better layout and complete upgrade of all our electrical, plumbing, and finishes. The work included a new Master Suite, increasing our 1-1/2 bath to 2-1/2 baths along with an additional 500 sq. ft. of living area. We are very pleased and happy with the results.

L & A Custom Homes was highly recommended by our friends. We did a total revamping of our house and could not be happier with the L&A team. We are finishing the project on time and on budget. We had a couple of big changes in our project, but they worked with us to integrate those changes, with very limited impact to the project plan. We were able to use their contacts to find the finish material we were looking for, and at reasonable costs. The quality of their workmanship is great and their attention to details is immaculate. AVA Construction built my home from scratch. Kamran and the team worked diligently and always presented us options to trade off time and quality. He also gave food advice and his own opinions when we asked. I would strongly recommend them.

Ava construction has done an excellent work at my home. Ava did a couple things an addition and renovate the existing house. Let me start by how clear the communication is right from the start. Kamran was very clear on the estimate of the project price and time it takes to complete the project. My renovation was completed within the estimated price and time. He is very good at communicating your options and have you make an informed decision. During the project, Kamran and the crew were very pleasant to work with and communicated well on the progress. I was blessed to find Kamran for my renovation project.

As a builder/developer I've worked with many contractors during past 20+ yrs. But I only had good experience with a few of them.Kamran is one those who care about clients jobs and is responsible.i also had good experiences with most of his subs. The good thing about them is they take responsibility to fix any problems that may happen. L&A construction helped me with building 2 brand new homes in Menlo Park and 1 on going brand new project in Burlingame. I give them 5 Stars for everything except 4.5 stars for timing.
