We really enjoyed working with Les Owens and his staff at LRO. They were very professional, timely in their work and very knowledgable in the home building process. We have just moved into our new home on Woodland Drive in the Preston Hollow area of Dallas. Our very best decision was choosing Les Owens of LRO Residential as our builder. Les found the lot, introduced us to Brian Easley, our architect, and built the house. And we are thrilled with his finished work. It is uncanny how the project unfolded just as Les said it would. He finished on schedule and on budget. We found Les to be cordial, knowlegeable, professional, and very responsive to our questions and needs. Even after our move-in, Les continues to be very responsive. Les and his assistant Sharon did an excellent job of helping us manage all the decisions about finishes, fixtures, appliances and hardware. Rather than identify all the choices we needed to make at one time, we were given options near to the time a decision was required so as to not impact the schedule. Les assigned us lots of homework that took us to various distributors and warehouses around Dallas. We had fun making choices and when we had trouble with a choice, Les would always make a sound suggestion. During the process, Les became a friend. It is without hestitation that we recommend Les and LRO Residential. If you are considering building a new home in Dallas or Cypress Springs Lake, you absolutely should talk with Les first.

LRO Residential completed our home at 5744 Caruth, Dallas, Texas in October last year. The work was done very professionally. We are very proud of this home and we would recommend Les Owens to anyone. The work went very well and was completed timely. Les used very competent sub-contracters and they were supervised extremely well. Les Owens is very trustworthy and his reputation is very important to him and he guards it accordingly. LRO was the builder for our new home. Overall project was well done and completed on time. The home was actually built a little faster than we would have liked because we had trouble making timely decisions on items such as hardware, trim, paint colors, etc. It was hard to keep up with the builder. Probably a good problem to have versus taking too long but still difficult for us. Only negative was the sub that did the painting. To their credit, LRO has replaced that sub. Les Owens is a good person and a good builder that we would use again.

I called LRO Residential for a follow up question and they provide a very timely response. Their follow up has been excellent.

Les has been great to work with from start to finish. This is the first house we've built and he clearly laid out the process and timeline. In addition, he was very helpful when we had to make selections on cabinets, floors, knobs, paint colors, pretty much anything you can think of. Most importantly, he was great at communicating with us on everything and was available to speak or meet when we needed. If we ever built another house, we would definitely consider LRO Residential again.
