From start to finish Pathway made our 4 month project stress free and fun. Paul and his entire team were professional, reliable, accountable, and true craftsmen. I can not recommend Pathway enough. We can't wait to start phase 2 with them.

We’ve worked with Pathway Design & Construction on two remodeling projects so far; a kitchen reconfiguration to open our space for wildlife viewing, and a bathroom update and refresh. In addition, we hired Pathway for crawl space repair following a storm water event. Pathway handled every aspect of the projects expertly, from design through construction and clean-up, with a listening ear for our ideas and thoughtful consideration of our pets, our neighbors, and the greater environment. We look forward to again working with the Pathway crew for upcoming remodeling at our Edmonds home.

Pathway did a major remodel for us in 2013/2014. In 2013 they reconfigured the living space of our house and helped replaced the oil furnace with a ductless heat pump system. The following Spring they added a master suite to the house, dramatically enhancing our ability to age in place here, while improving the livability of the house, and also improving the indoor air quality to a considerable degree. They were wonderful to work with and brought us NO surprises in the form of costs that did not meet estimate. They kept to budget and kept communications current. We had no surprises and wound up with a great project. We would hire them again today. I can't say that about every contractor I've worked with!

My experience with Pathway was excellent from start to finish - their communication and responsiveness was excellent, they did top notch work, and they were very involved with making sure everything was being done right throughout the process. Pathway Design & Construction has worked with us on several projects. Several years ago Pathway helped us with some basic upgrades at our old house. When we moved into our turn-of-the-century house on Queen Anne Hill in Seattle, Pathway helped us update the main bathroom, which made poor use of the space and was out of character for the period of the home. Pathway constructed a new bathroom that is much more efficient, lighter, and true to the style of the home. Last year we hired Pathway to handle a comprehensive remodel of the main floor. First, we removed an old, poorly placed powder room. Then we installed a new powder room in a better spot. This opened up the living room and the dining room, which are more spacious and more light-filled as a result. At the same time, we took the kitchen down to studs and replaced an aging 1970s design with a new, modern kitchen. Pathway helped us manage the small spaces that come with a house our age, both raising up the kitchen ceiling and installing a large lift-and-slide door and window combination that creates essentially a wall of windows bringing a ton of light into the kitchen. Pathway explained what things would cost in advance and when we had questions explained the basis for the pricing. Pathway kept the job to the original quoted price. There were a number of nice features in the work. We were refinishing older wood floors and patching into them new areas resulting from the new layout. Pathway was able to locate similar floor materials from another older house being torn down and established a beautiful, seamless look to our new (and old) floors. They left the unused slats so we have materials for future patching if necessary. Pathway carefully matched the new trim around the new doorways and windows to the old, original trim. Pathway repainted the entire main floor carefully and thoroughly giving the whole job a clean, finished look. We highly recommend Pathway Design and Construction.

Pathway was on time, on budget, and on schedule. They proactively helped us resolve all those difficult design decisions and helped us source the appropriate materials to meet our design, budget and eco-friendly aspirations. After hearing many horror stories our renovation was fast and relatively painless. We would strongly recommend them.

After having several remodels on my home by a different contractor who retired, I gave Pathway Design & Construction a try when I needed my kitchen and deck remodeled. Pathway was the best contractor I have ever worked with. They did extensive remodels to the 1939 bungalow we bought 2 years ago, then came back the following year and added a master bedroom wing. All the work was done with high quality, using non-toxic materials. Our indoor air quality is now excellent and the house is even more livable than we could have imagined.
