About Us

Port Town Construction began as the result of many years of labor, experimentation of better building techniques and commitment to quality. Our latest endeavors include energy efficient structures, kitchen, bathroom and full home remodels, top quality outdoor living spaces and commercial office and restaurant build outs! We also offer architectural design, drafting and permitting services! We founded our company in 2014 with a cumulative experience level spanning decades building in both the Residential and Commercial Construction sectors. The vision is to provide the best customer service possible, develop creative and energy efficient designs, and most of all enjoy the process of construction. We are a design and build construction company capable of designing and building the best structures available. Port Town Construction is located in beautiful Portland, Oregon nestled right under Mt. Tabor. We have a full carpentry shop where we can design and assemble any type of project or prepare for larger projects. We serve all of the Portland Metro areas but have a strong client base on the East side. We are a Licensed, Bonded and Insured Residential General Contractor. CCB #202753.

I’d give Port Town Construction more than five stars if I could. Nick has completed two projects for us – both on time, on budget, and built with exceptional craftsmanship. Our latest project was a front porch design for wheelchair access while maintaining the home’s character. We showed him an inspirational photo, but the final result was even better. Beautiful, solid, and built to last. Highly recommend, and will definitely be working with Nick again!

After building a beautiful fence and deck railing, we had Nicholas add a gate to prevent our new dog from escaping. Always beautiful work! When we had a needed repair to the gate, he was able to fit me in and complete it quickly.

Nick is extremely professional and capable of anything. He keeps both planning, scheduling, and his work site clean and tidy. He was always willing to answer my questions. Our very short punch list was completed very quickly. I would recommend him for any project needs! I hope to have him back to complete an outdoor project in the future.

Fence/deck

Port Town construction recently finished a fencing and deck project at my house and I couldn’t be happier! The design sense, attention to detail and craftsmanship that Nick brought to the project was beyond what I was expecting. People stop in the street to compliment how great everything looks! As far as contractors go, Port Town Construction is one of the great ones- skilled AND communicates well… Quite a combo these days! I highly recommend using them for any project!

Port Town Construction LLC recently completed a stairway and decking project at our residential investment property. The project was completed on time and on budget and in a professional manner. The quality of work and materials used were excellent. Nick and his crew are skilled craftsmen. The decking, stairs and railings are both beautiful and functional. The stairs are very sturdy and have a nice rise that is not too steep. Nick has a calm approach and does an excellent job of communicating all of the details of the work. Nick and his crew were easy to work with and did a great job of interacting with all of the tenants.

After meeting with other contractors, it became readily clear to us that Port Town Construction was the best choice. Right away, Nick was prompt and clear with his email correspondence, quick to schedule an appointment, and highly informative during the initial meeting. It was obvious he is not only highly knowledgeable but has a passion for what he does. The entire process from start to finish was seamless. He and his associate Mike were professional, respectful, and just all around nice guys. The expertise and care they put into our project is evident in the photos: our fence is beautiful, sturdy, and built with pride.
