Quantum Windows & Doors

I am not impressed with the window installation that was done when they cut a wood frame to short they filled it in with caulking ,see pic below . Staples indented frame which they again filled in with caulking . The two sets of windows side by side are different sizes windows they promised me they would frame the windows in ti match, they didn't . I wish I had shopped around more.

Buyer Beware. This company has great marketing for quality and craftsmanship. We installed 14 Quantum windows on our second floor during a remodel. That was a decade ago. About 3 years after the install, we noticed black goo oozing from the panes. The company was not responsive to the problem. After contacting the highest level of the company, I had them pay a visit. Their response was that they no longer use that type of seal. Also, the warranty would NOT cover the problem. Over the last 7 years, we have had continual problems with fogging glass. Quantum will only pay the cost of the glass which is nominal. They will NOT cover the cost of the labor or painting. Essentially, they are not at all standing by their product. In some cases, after replacement, the panes fog again. These repairs cost several hundred dollars per 8 inch by 9 inch pane. We will be dealing with this hassle and cost for years to come until we replace these window which is a hugh investment. This should never happen. The consumer should never be left holding the bag when the company knows it is their defective product and they know. The owner himself told me that they had these problems so they no longer use this type of seal. What is our remedy? I guess to seek legal avenues. It is very frustrating. Yes, these windows looked beautiful when installed but buyer beware. My recommendation would be to purchase from a company that stands by their product. Do not buy from this company.

Working with Quantum was a very professional experience. They believe in communication, whether by phone or email, with a quick response time if a message is left on a voice. There follow-up to questions about the installation process was superb, way beyond what I would have expected. We had an installation issue - not Quantum's fault by any means, but they had dealt with the problem before and talked us through an easy solution and fix. The mechanism of these doors, as well as the ease of opening and closing, the aesthetics and beautiful quality of wood made these some of the best doors we have purchases. The doors were one of the main "wow" factors of this home, and definitely helped sell it. Overall experience with Quantum was good, and we will continue to work with them.

The Classic series common mullion and Quantum's custom milling of kerfs and reveals allowed for integration of building finishes without build up of interior trim. The resulting simple profiles were the perfect frame for engaging the out of doors. Exquisitely made, they add a sense of finesse to the overall ensemble.
