We know from personal experience how hard it is in this current environment to find and retain a qualified and competent renovation contractor. This is especially true when we are dealing with an outdoor upper story project at a time of year with highly variable weather. We were fortunate indeed to secure the services of Rigo and RGM Our aim was to replace and renew a third floor deck and deteriorating roof below. This project was completed with extremely high professionalism in every aspect. RIgo and RGM came in with a master plan, design and workable budget which they executed on time exactly as intended. Beginning with demolition and roof stripping through roof replacement and new cedar deck rebuild all work was completed with minimal intrusion on us as inhabitants. All of this was made possible by Rigo's extraordinary project management skills, unrelenting personal attention to work team efforts plus his own contributions as required. Rigo kept us fully informed not only with regular reports of each day's progress but also of many important inputs about what was discovered by way of many small unexpected adjustments and changes that needed to be made along the way. All in all Rigo and RGM went far above and beyond and delivering full value for the work on this project. We would not hesitate in recommending engagement of Rigo and RGM for projects of this scale or any other.

I was referred to RGM Developments Inc. by a friend, and despite receiving a glowing recommendation, I have to admit Rigo and his team far exceeded any expectations I had. I hired RGM Developments to remove a third-floor deck, replace the existing leaking roof with an engineered roof (which Rigo designed), repair a damaged chimney, build a cedar deck and replace all the metal flashing and eavestroughs on the house. Rigo truly is excellent at what he does, he is by far the most technically knowledgeable, hands-on, contractor and builder I have ever worked with, and an unmatched commitment to quality of execution and an amazing attention to detail. He was extremely communicative, always keeping me informed of what work was being done when, and when we have a few surprises (like badly deteriorated trusses underneath the old eavestroughs) the scope of work expansion was immediately communicated for my approval and was accompanied by fair pricing (not like some other experiences I’ve had with other contractors). Did I mention how detailed he is? He treated the project like he was doing it on his own house and the passion for what he does was clearly evident. His teams of tradespeople were respective and the work was always done when Rigo told me it would be done – we were plagued by bad weather for outdoor project but Rigo and his team were always there when it was possible (due to the weather) to work and work was consistently done until the job was complete. I am in love with all the work that Rigo and his team completed but am so happy with the cedar rooftop deck! You can just tell how high quality all the work that was completed – I know Rigo is a custom builder and hopefully one day I’ll be able to hire him to build a house for me, I can’t even imagine how perfect it would be given the level of passion and dedication he gave to my project! RGM Renovations recently completed a major basement renovation which involved finishing a 750 square feet space at our home in the Queen West area of Toronto. Over the course of multiple houses and years, we have worked with many contractors and trades. We have done major housing renovations and rebuilds on various properties that we have owned. RGM Renovations was certainly among the very best. Unlike most contractors, Rigo of RGM Renovations is extremely well organized and disciplined in project delivery. He provided a very detailed quote and a clear plan for the work. He organized the sub trades effectively and ensured that work proceeded as planned. He was excellent at consulting and working with us on project design / delivery issues. He and his primary team was consistently on site and the sub trades showed up on schedule. One of the best things about Rigo and his team is their respectfulness when working in an occupied house. They respected our space and concerns, We never felt that they were intrusive or inconsiderate. The final product was a transformed space with precise lines and high quality finishes. We could not be more pleased. Highly recommend.

RGM Renovations took down a wall in our house. It was a duplex and they converted it back into a single family home. They worked quickly, were easy to coordinate things with, took care of the surrounding area by ensuring everything was covered and protected. They came to assess the wall before they got started to ensure they knew what they were dealing with. They were respectful of our space and our home and did a great job. I would recommend them to others considering similar type work.

We hired Rigo to help us with an ikea kitchen install. He did an amazing job! We have an old house with very uneven floors and he managed to get our countertops and cupboards perfectly level (from every angle) - not an easy task. One wall of the kitchen is a 100 year-old brick wall that we wanted to preserve, undamaged, as much as possible. He meticulously hung the cabinets on that wall so that the screws went into the mortar only and not the brick. He was on time (early, actually) and on budget. As always with old house renovations, plans changed somewhat as we went and he was very good about adapting to the unexpected. He did extra small things for us, like hanging a third pot rail and securing one of our base cabinets to the floor (like an island) instead of the wall without charging us extra. Overall, we had a good experience working with Rigo and look forward to using him for other projects. We are enjoying our beautiful new kitchen!

RGM renovated my ugly old 60s era bathroom to one that matches the vintage of a house built in 1909. They were professional, prompt and very communicative throughout the project and started on the day they said they would. They also took direction well as I had done the design and knew what I wanted overall. That said they also had some great ideas on their own which were helpful and were implemented after consultations. Project was on budget. I am very happy with the result and look forward to using a warm, attractive new bathroom.

Rigo, helped me construct my backyard deck. He came eager to work every day. On time in the morning and worked hard during the day. My deck now looks fantastic. I would recommend Rigo.

I hired RGM to frame a 2300 foot basement , Rigo and his men were professional and accommodating. many times I had to ask Rigo to change the framing layout after he frame the area , without so much as a peep the changes were made that day , I am vary please with the work and the patients they show . I would use them again. without hesitation . I hope to use them on many of my project, if they are available

We are/were renovating our backyard with plans to host a wedding reception. Biggest project was a large deck. Being in the industry somewhat I had heard of RGM's good work and am very happy that we went with them. Rigo (owner) is everything you could ask in a contractor. He is courteous, respectful, and prompt to respond. He comes when he says he will and is patient and very good at communicating how the project is going, what he is doing, incorporating all desired ideas, and willing to offer own creative and cost effective suggestions. The work was exemplary, and felt very comfortable with the experience, knowledge, and skill shown throughout the project. We can't say enough good things about RGM Renovations, specifically Rigo, and his team. It was the complete opposite experience of any we've had with other contractors. Rigo completed a major house renovation on my newly purchased house, which included stucco removal and resurfacing of the ceilings throughout, removal of existing wall to wall carpeting, installation of hardwood flooring and new baseboards, installation of pot lights and replacement of existing electrical fixtures and hardware throughout the house. In addition, he removed and capped an unwanted gas fireplace and installed a line to provide natural gas to my bbq. During the renovation, a chronic and longtime severe mold issue was uncovered, he quickly responded to, providing a several courses of action and oversight of mold remediation, he also repaired and replaced any walls that where removed as part of the remediation work. I am very pleased with the renovation in its entirety. Rigo and his team, produced very high quality results that exceeded my expectations. They were very focused and detailed oriented, yet managed to finished the work ahead of schedule. I would definitely hire Rigo and his company again for another reno and highly recommend him. If you are looking for a high quality reno, at a fair price - Rigo is your guy.
