With over fifteen years of experience in the design industry, Rose Tergelie Bien-Aime has established herself as a seasoned professional in residential, commercial, and event design. Her journey to becoming a renowned interior designer is a testament to her determination, passion, and unwavering commitment to excellence. Rose's entry into the field of interior design took an unexpected turn. While pursuing a degree in civil engineering during her second year of college, she felt a profound calling to alter her course which led to a decisive shift in her academic focus towards interior design. This transition resulted in an outstanding academic performance, with her final project being retained by the educational institution for accreditation demonstrations, showcasing the exceptional quality and creativity she brought to her work. As Rose evolved into a designer, she encountered distinctive challenges within the competitive Boston design scene. Instead of allowing these challenges to deter her, she perceived them as opportunities for personal growth and the development of innovative solutions. In 2012, recognizing the need for new horizons, Rose embarked on a journey to expand her design career. Applying for positions across various states, she secured an immediate job offer from a distinguished company in Maryland. This pivotal move marked the initiation of an extraordinary chapter in her Rose has received several awards including "Designer Star" award, a recognition bestowed upon her as one of the foremost designers nationally at the company she worked for. She was also awarded with "Best Aesthetics," "Best Portfolio Design," and "Best Classic Design." Rose transitioned from employment within a reputable company after a successful eleven-year tenure in Maryland to launch a firm in a co-ownership capacity. Most recently, Rose has chosen to chart a new course in Massachusetts, embarking on an entrepreneurial endeavor to launch her own interior design firm "Tergelie Design Studio". As the founder of her own interior design firm, overflowing with enthusiasm, Rose is eager to share the wealth of design experiences she has accumulated over the years with her clients. Rose firmly believes that everyone deserves to reside in a space they genuinely adore. This dedication to this core principle is the cornerstone of her mission.

I reached out to Rose to for interior designing. I needed expert help designing my living and dining room. Rose did above and beyond what I asked for and even paid for! From picking the big furnitures and accent furnitures, to picking art pieces, she has an eye for design, colors and patterns that i would not think to pair or match together. She is very attentive and when she said "trust me" I had to trust her. I cannot wait to continue designing my whole house and hire Rose as my designer!

Rose is truly gifted at her craft. My husband and I knew we needed to update our kitchen, but did not know where to start. Rose has a detailed eye and took care of everything. She selected a few options for everything from lighting to wall paint and curated a custom design that not only pops, but met our unique needs. We wanted to keep our existing counter tops, flooring and cabinets. Her eye for color is amazing. She tied everything together beautifully. She came in , measured everything and helped my husband to see the vision. She executed within our timeline and even communicated with the contractor and painters to make sure everything ran smoothly. We can’t wait to have her back to do our master bedroom!

We had a 5 star designer & experience with Rose Bien-Aime at Ethan Allen in Rockville, MD. She designed 2 homes for us (furniture, rugs, paint color etc.) and we are thrilled with the results. Rose created a vision & implemented her designs, incorporating our styles perfectly. We worked very well with Rose because she is flexible, adaptable & highly responsive. Rose’s customer service was superior. She responded immediately to all text messages & calls from the beginning of the project through delivery & after. She made us feel like we were her only clients. Thanks so much Rose for helping us create a stunning home that our family, friends & we will enjoy for many years!

I absolutely loved the pictures I saw of Rose's work online on Houzz and Ethan Allen so I decided to message her on Houzz not knowing what to expect. I was concerned that she would not be able to help me with my design since I am in another state but that was not a problem at all. She was fast in responding and quickly compiled a presentation that was incredible. It's like she read my mind! She presented 3D renderings to me and my husband through using several platforms: email, zoom, facetime. Her designs and demeanor demonstrated to me she is truly a professional. I desired a sleek, elegant, sophisticated hotel inspired look and she no doubt delivered that! I can't wait for my furniture to arrive so I can post pictures! Thank you Rose!

i was very fortunate to be assigned Rose T. Bein-Aime when I visited Ethan Allen looking for living room furniture several months ago. Immediately, it was evident that Rose was an outstanding, talented designer. She was very friendly, professional and easy to work with. Moreover, I was impressed with her knowledge of all of Ethan Allen's inventory. Rose took the time to listen to my vision and then used her expertise and knowledge of design t help me make the right selections for my living room. I especially liked that she was not pushy when she shared her ideas with me. After I finalized my selections and placed my order, Rose kept in touch, following up until my furniture was delivered. Exactly one week after my furniture was delivered, I received the Ethan Allen Catalog, Volume 2. To my amazement, the chair on the front cover was made of the same fabric and color of the chairs that Rose helped me select for my living room chairs. How cool was that!

We have been working with Rose since June 2019. We purchased a new home and wanted to make sure our home represented my husband’s and my style while still appropriate for a family of 4 with two young boys. We really wanted style with good quality fabrics that can hold up for a family. We have purchased furniture and accessories in the past with Ethan Allen but our experience with Rose this time around was extremely different. On the first visit Rose took the time to understand what we were looking for. On the second visit, she showed us our 3D room layout and fabrics. And I must say my husband and I loved the layout and the fabrics immediately. We did not waste time discussing different layouts. We knew that we didn’t need to look at more fabrics. We went with Rose’s design and are so happy with our decision. Unlike other designers, Rose gives you honest feedback and will take the time to explain why she designed the room in a particular way and why she chose those exact fabrics for you. Rose has designed our family room and we are now working on our dining room with her. Our living room will be next and with Rose of course! We cannot imagine working with anyone else besides Rose.

Rose is a top-quality designer. She is very honest, creative, extremely patient and truly listens to the client’s vision for the space. I was truly impressed with her hassle-free approach of helping me step out of my comfort zone with patterns that I normally would not consider. I enjoy working with Rose! Her design is stunning! And she is really good at working with existing pieces that you would like to keep. She does not push you to buy anything. But you won’t be able to resist her fantastic design. Rose pays attention to her clients’ overall style to get a better understanding what you might like and she is usually right on. Ethan Allen’s furniture are very expensive but they really have great quality! Combined with great designers like Rose, the end result is a beautiful home !

Imagine all the satisfaction and amazement that would come with having your favorite HGTV star design a space in your home. Well, that’s what you get when you work with Rose! She is just as good as if not better than ANY designer on HGTV. Rose’s work is outstanding! She is truly gifted and an expert in her field.
