We worked with Sarah and team over at Goesling Group and could not be more excited for our results. We first moved into our house and had two living rooms and decided to work with a designer for our more formal living area on our main floor. Originally, I met with in-house designers at the big box stores (RH, PB, CB2, and Arhaus) and I was always disappointed. We were looking for furnishing that would not only be pet friendly but we also had a baby on the way so we needed pieces that would be kid-friendly, stylish and sophisticated. We also know this is not going to be our forever home so we wanted pieces that wouldn’t feel dated or pieces that only fit this specific house. We found Goesling Group through a friend’s recommendation and on our first call, I felt like Sarah understood what we were looking for. We talked through functionality of the space, design, colors and textures. I really wanted a light-colored space with whites, light greys and mixed metals (doesn’t sound like a smart idea with a dog and baby). When we met next and were presented with our mood board designs, samples and layout and we were blown away. Sarah was able to give me the living room of my dreams and not have to make compromises on any neutrals or light color fabrics. She also in her design included a stunning gallery wall that features our growing family as the focal point within the space. The living area seamlessly transitions into our kitchen and dining space. Goesling Group even sourced pieces that would pull those additional spaces together to give our house a sophisticated modern feel but still have elements of a cozy living space. Install was flawless and her team is full service. Every picture/wall art is hung with precision, each piece is set perfectly within the space. They created such a wonderful space for us and we can’t wait to have family and friends over again to entertain. We absolutely loved working with Sarah and her team at Goesling Group and would highly recommend them for any project (big or small). While we were just furnishing, we know in our next move we will be working with Sarah again to help design our next home. She has incredible talent; she truly is a visionary and the BEST designer. I retained Sara’s services by the recommendation of my area Kohler boutique showroom. In my case I was redoing a master bath in a condo that I had recently purchased. I’m sure like many of you,I spent countless hours on this exact website looking for ideas and inspiration. I brought my many (understatement) ideas to Sara and to her credit (and patience) , she was able to design a stunning spa like master suite bathroom that was in total align with my vision . But what I learned is design is only half the process , making it come to life is the other half. Sara over saw the entire project , from the demo work , hiring and dealing with the plumbers, tile guys , drywall, electricians, etc , all from beginning to end and I couldn’t have been happier with the final result . Please ask Sara to share pictures of my master bath with you, of course you maybe a little envious ... but rest assured she can create a dream master bath for you to!

Sarah designed our family room and kitchen and we couldn't be happier. Her design went beyond what we had envisioned. Everyone especially loves our coffered ceiling which was Sarah's idea. Sarah Goesling is the best. My wife and I met with three different contractors to transform our Master Bath before meeting Sarah Goesling at the Kohler Store. We stopped in to look at products and the helpful tips Sarah gave us convinced us (okay my wife) to give her a shot at design options. We spent some time with her to share our vision of a master bath and when we returned a couple of weeks later we were amazed at how she captured our vision and developed the best plan out of all the contractors. She also saved us time, frustration and anxiety by recommending tiles and fixtures that worked with our budget and vision; the thought of having to go through all those options was a source of anxiety for me, but Sarah nailed everything with one shot. My wife now has her Spa like getaway in our home. We are following our own recommendation and will start working with Sarah again on another bathroom project.

Sarah helped us remodel a small master bathroom. We had been to several stores and talked with many other designers. None of them inspired us or gave us the sense of confidence that Sarah did. She is artistic and could convey her ideas graphically. She also looked at the room as a whole not just the tile, the floor, or the shower. The room she envisioned is the room she delivered and we love it! She guided us, worked with our tastes, and supported us during the process. The bathroom is gorgeous and we are grateful to Sarah for her vision, her direction, her great work and the excellent installers she recommended.

After moving into a home with a oddly designed and shaped master bathroom, we were in desperate need of a good designer. We briefly met with a couple of designers but the fit didn't seem quite right. I felt like they weren't listening to what we really wanted. Then one day I stopped by the Kohler Store to look at products, and happened to meet Sarah. She was exactly who we were looking for. She carefully listened to what we wanted out of the design, and was able to provide us with a modern bathroom that respected the age of our 1885 home. It was an easy decision to work with her. Because of her use of Kohler and Kallista products and top of the line stone products, we also knew we would be getting a quality bathroom. We couldn't be happier with the final product. She designed a bathroom that is serene and functional, which was quite a challenge due to the irregularly shaped room. Sarah is so easy to work with, has brilliant ideas, respects your budget, and made the process fun. We would absolutely recommend working with her. The following is a detailed list of the completed work: - Bathroom gutted, which got rid a an oddly placed corner tub - Shelf along back of new tub was created to meet need of storage space - Thin carrara subway tile used on floor - Larger, white porcelain tile used along shower wall and tub surround - Carrara tile used along back wall in herringbone pattern - Carrara slab used for tub, cabinet top, shelves and shower threshold - Herringbone carrara pattern up the middle of the shower used to bring in the design element of the back wall - Recessed shelves installed in shower to meet need of additional storage space - In place of new cabinets, original cabinets were painted gray to update them, helping us stay in budget - Frameless glass shower installed to create more openness - Kallista shower, tub and sink fixtures - Deep Robern medicine cabinets were used to create extra storage space - Thin and tall Robern sconces used for good lighting while not overwhelming space - Kohler dual flush toilet - Kallista "Perfect Tub" - Overhead can lights moved to provide better lighting For installation we used Eurotop Bath Art. They have a lot of experience installing Kohler designs, which helped make the process smooth. They are very detail oriented, which shows in the complex tile work.

It was decided early in 2012 that we wanted to have several rooms in our home "refreshed". We like to think we know what style is but we couldn't put something stylish together if we tried. For months we researched designers in the Greater Chicago Area and then interviewed several. The last designer we meet was Sarah and it quickly became evident that we had found the perfect match. She had a incredible personality and a style that matched what we were looking for. Within a week or we had initial designs on our "living room to lounge" transformation and we were blown away as she had completely captured the look we had wanted. Everything from scheduling to final completion went as promised and each member or her team and subcontractor were complete professionals. Upon completion of our First Phase we started Phase Two which included our formal dining room. Once again Sarah delivered with an incredible design that played off of our new lounge and integrated nicely with all ready present design elements. Sarah respected our budget for these projects all while utilizing some of the highest quality products many of which were award winning. It has been a pleasure working with Sarah and we've already contacted here again to complete our entire first floor.

I had been thinking about remodeling my bathroom for a while and had some vague ideas about what I wanted when I received an e-mail invitation to meet with a design consultant for a free consultation. I decided to make use of the invitation as a way of beginning to see how realistic some of my ideas were as well as to collect new ideas. Upon meeting Sarah I knew I was talking with someone who understood what I was looking for, and was able to take my very general ideas and turn them into something much more than I could even imagine. From the selection of the tiles, to the faucets, to the overall design, the process always felt collaborative, but it was Sarah's knowledge and expertise that made the difference in the detail and overall look and feel of the design. Additionally, Sarah was careful (and helped me to be careful) to stay within my budget parameters. This was my first experience with remodeling, and it was a wonderful one.
