Sayre is amazing!! My husband and I have 2 small children and we really needed our house to be 'beautiful" but "functional" for 2 small kids. She made our living room, family room, dining room all STUNNING but so kid friendly. There isn't a room in our house that the kids can't hang out in yet the adults feel great in them too! Amazing job!!

I've worked with Sayre on a number of projects as the provider of plants and plant-related accessories for her clients. Firstly, Sayre has got great style! Her interiors are a showcase of current and classic-with-character features. She is thorough, organized, knowledgeable, resourceful, and effective at getting the job done. Most recently we've been working together on a project that has really showcased her ability to create a diversity of individual room identities with rich, interesting colors, finishes, and so on, while maintaining a unifying personality for the space overall. She's a great designer and a delight to work with.

Sayre was our life saver. I can only sing praises of her talents and abilities to create show stopping, awe-inspiring spaces. We've been in our house for over a year now, and I still smile when I walk through my home because I'm so in love and proud of how everything turned out. Anytime guests are over, a compliment shortly follows their entrance. Just so you know, my home was built in 1939. It is 4,000+ square feet. Sayre designed the following: kitchen, kitchen nook, office, formal dining room, formal living room, foyer, master bedroom, bath, and closet, 2 guest bedrooms, family den, wine room, sitting area, 4 full baths, 1 powder room, upstairs patio, outdoor living room, and deck extension. Sayre is professional, organized, personable, efficient with her time, and keeps the ball rolling on her projects. She worked in tandem with the contractor and craftsman we hired for the project, helping to ensure no detail was over looked. She has an uncanny ability to mix the new with the old. Her resources include established showrooms and designers, but also extend to up and coming furniture and accessories craftsman. She has an uncanny ability to create a welcomed balance between today's designers and beautiful and carefully curated vintage finds. I could go on and on singing the sweet song of Sayre, so I'll conclude with saying Sayre will be the only designer my husband and I use for any future projects or homes that come our way. Oh, my husband found her so effective and efficient he hired her to work on one of his apartment projects, where she redesigned the buildings common spaces, office, exteriors, and 80 apartment units. Sayre has a very good eye for solutions that are beautiful and also fit the client's taste. She came to my place to start a work plan and had very good suggestions from the start. She send me a proposal on line from which I could choose what to include and what to postpone. On her second visit, she arrived with fabric samples that I truly liked and that went well with the rest of the house. It did not take much time to decide what to do. She followed up on the work orders, and took great care with delivery. One piece was large and difficult to maneuver through a staircase. She was able to call an extra crew to handle the challenge the same day. I am very happy with her work, and several friends have asked me for her name after noticing the work.

Sayre is an extremely professional & talented designer. We have worked with her on numerous projects in our home and have recommended her to friends as well. She has a sophisticated yet eclectic aesthetic and really listened to us, making sure to give us what we wanted and inspiring us with new ideas along the way.

I hired SVZ Design for a large project in my home. Project included new design and construction of 3 bathrooms, new paint colors throughout my home, new carpeting and new furniture. Sayre was very thorough and very quickly understood what I wanted. She understood that I wanted to keep the design true to the overall architectural design of my home. She is very knowledgeable in design and has exceptional vendors that she works with to complete the overall vision. I look forward to working with her again.

Most importantly, our place looks fantastic. The end result is a wonderful interior style that both fits within our tastes but also pushed the boundaries of what we would have chosen ourselves - the end result being better than anything we could have dreamed ourselves! Working with Sayre was seamless. After the initial input, we did not have to worry about any of the details. Things were delivered, set up, hung, and arranged magically. Sayre was very respectful of our budget, and if we wanted to go for something on the less expensive side there was no pressure. There is really nothing left to hope for in an interior designer!!

Sayre helped us build an amazing home. She's fun to work with and now a great friend. We are so happy we hired her.
