TreHus transformed our house from a worn old house look to a stately, top quality 90 year old house look by repairing our third floor dormer! The customer service from our project manager was top-notch - we discussed the project in the winter and TreHus kept us regularly up to date on possible dates the work could start. They started on time and finished ahead of schedule and on-budget. We are very pleased with the final results and highly recommend TreHus!

All in all, very nice! Good people, good service, and quality work. Concerns included length of time and total cost. It took twice as long as expected (3 mo. became 6 mo.). I lost a summer I was not expecting to lose. Twice there were things that needed to be changed from what was written on the plan (placement of a door and a cupboard) and one hardware placement mistake, and they made the changes to make sure I was happy. They even came back 4 mo later to fix a paint problem. I love the finished product.

We had a great project manager, that supported this project from beginning to the end. We would wholeheartedly recommend TreHus to family and friends for any remodel project.

Trehus was wonderful to work with on our kitchen renovation, new powder room and back entrance. Everyone on the team was great from the owner Dave, to the architect, Jon, our project manager Craig and all the other terrific carpenters and tradespeople who worked on the project. They worked collaboratively with us on all aspects of the design to create a kitchen that was modern yet fit with a house built in the early 1900's. The work was completed on time and they even came back several months later to fix a few minor problems . By far our best renovation experience!

We hired TreHus to remodel two bathrooms and two closet areas and we are extremely pleased with the result. Our concerns with hiring a contractor were: Our old bathrooms and closets really didn’t suit us in terms of how we wanted to use the space (the shower was too small, no shower in the master bath, etc.) so we really needed someone who give use what we needed without increasing the footprint of our house. We wanted someone who could keep to a schedule. We had to use our basement bathroom during construction, which was really inconvenient, so we didn’t want have unnecessary delays due to poor planning. We wanted high quality workmanship and finishes. We wanted someone who could guarantee their work and not leave us high and dry with unresolved issues.. We had never done a major remodeling project before so we really needed design help making all the decisions about plumbing fixtures, tile, paint, etc. We wanted the new bathrooms to be attractive, of course, but we also wanted everything to be functional and durable. I have to say TreHus exceeded my exceptions on all of the issues above. In the area that was remodeled, everything was taken down to the studs except for the plumbing stack and the new floor plan is brilliant. We have everything we wanted (including a huge new shower) and nothing feels cramped although we only expanded the space a little by taking a foot or so off the master bedroom. Trehus was able to give a detailed project schedule before we started, showing when each sub was supposed to arrive. Although there were some delays beyond TreHus’s control, such as when the carpet manufacturer shipped the wrong carpet, Trehus has such good relationships with their subcontractors that they were able to get back on track quickly. All of the workmanship was high quality—TreHus has carpenters on staff and uses very professional subcontractors. At the end of the project, they made a punch list of all of the details that needed to be fixed, and methodically worked through it until everything was perfect . We are really pleased with how attractive our new bathrooms are, and it’s a joy to use them—like going to a spa! So, in conclusion, we feel very lucky to have been able to have TreHus do our project, and would definitely use them again.

We were completely satisfied with our TreHus remodeling project. It was a bathroom in an older (1911) home. Everything was done in a professional way. They took care of the inevitable surprises that happen when walls are opened. Each aspect of the project was completed on time. Everyone we dealt with was pleasant and positive. Bathrooms can involve a great number of decisions and choices and they made these easy for us, They are on the expensive side but you get what you pay for. We would definitely use TreHus again on another remodeling project.

Our project included finishing the attic and a complete remodel of our main floor bathroom. We were very impressed with the professionalism and high quality of work demonstrated by TreHus. We would highly recommend them to anyone who is considering them for their next project.

Very impressed with the project managers and designers over at TreHus. They were extremely organized and communicated very clearly where there were opportunities for us to come in under the budget and places where the budget could creep up. Not only did they communicate, but they delivered on saving around $1,000 off the initial project estimate. They were done close to on time, and the only delays were due to scheduling issues with their contractors. They were respectful of our space, and interacted well with us and our two dogs. Would definitely use again!!

I can't say enough about TreHus. They were professional and performed their work with the utmost integrity and workmanship. We get nothing but complements on our Front Porch. I'd happily do work with them again.

We have such a wonderful experience with Trehus from start to finish. We had them remodel our kitchen including gutting it to studs and some associated floor plan changes. The design process was thoughtful with lots of fresh ideas and they were very good at listening to our concerns and priorities for the project while remaining very cognizant of the price point we wanted to work within. The construction work was very detail oriented with great attention to providing quality work throughout. We feel like the end product is something that will last for many many decades. They consistently made a point to provide good communication so that we always knew what step we were at in the project. Another great plus during construction was that there was not an enormous amount of dust as we've heard about in other remodels. Granted that we were out of the house during demolition, but other than that, they brought in their own vacuum system and nicely sectioned off the work zone with zippered plastic and we really didn't experience a huge amount of dust, which was great since we have people with asthma in the family. If we had any other remodel projects come up in the future we would no question work with Trehus again.

TreHus was wonderful to work with. They were accommodating, listened to us, provided services on time and within budget, and designed a project that was authentic and true to our almost 100 year old home. They helped us with the fundamentals of the home (plumbing, electrical, window restoration, exterior repair, etc.) and the beautiful remodeled design of our basement, kitchen and bathrooms. Overall, they are great to work with and we highly recommend them!

Everyone at Trehus was very responsive, listened to my needs and help me design the kitchen of my dreams. Gina, my designer was fantastic! She offered great ideas and guidance taking into consideration my eclectic taste.

Project management was not quite as expected, however the design work was very good. Master carpenter and his team were very professional. We are very happy with the finished project..

I cannot say enough good things about Trehus and their incredible team. After a catastrophic house fire, which gutted our beautiful 1914 Federal Colonial home to the studs, Trehus rebuilt and restored the entire home down to every detail. Every piece of woodwork, trim-- all the beauty of our historic home was brought back to life with artistry and attention to the smallest details. Their team of architects, designers and carpenters are of the highest caliber and their system of project management makes the entire process unbelievably smooth from start to finish. Trehus' design/build team was tasked to design a 21st century renovation, remodel and expansion of our 75 year old classic brick colonial home that would retain the character and charm of the existing structure. Its innovative design completely satisfied our requirements. It was completed on time and within our budget. Its attention to detail and workmanship was exemplary. To say that we are satisfied with the end result and Trehus is an understatement.

TreHus is fantastic. Working with them on my renovation was simply a great experience. The communication/responsiveness and professionalism I experienced with TreHus were amazing and were the two things that I appreciated most. The quality of the work is visibly excellent. The project manager (Dan) and the architect/designer (Gina) were easy to work with; they listened well, asked good questions and gave great advice. So many of the TreHus reviews I read were about how they came in on time and on budget, and I found that they work very hard with you to make sure that is true and the process is transparent. I will use them again and have already recommended them to others.

Trehus completed a couple of projects for us - redesigned a small porch at the back of the house to become an all-season sun room, advised on some design issues in an adjoining great room, enlarged and redesigned our deck. This is a very professional group. Every member of our project team - designers, project manager, carpenters, and subcontractors, was experienced, skilled, and serious about doing a good job for us. They were thoughtful and careful workers, and we enjoyed having them at our home.

Professional, detailed, and mistakes are corrected at no charge. Continuous communication and quite timely compared to stories I've heard from friends who have done remodeling. I continue to hire them for small jobs and would recomend TreHus to anyone.

We had a kitchen remodel, front and back porch re-dos with Trehus in the past. We were reminded how excellent customer service was from Trehus, in contrast to a recent small yard project we had done. The original guy never called back or answered emails. The landscape project ultimately turned out very nice with our 2nd choice, but from them, our emails and calls were not always returned in a timely fashion; the project was to be done one day and no one showed up, no calls. We knew with Trehus that the work would be done when they said it would be. Calls were returned promptly, no surprises when it came to teardown. They warned us about what they might find in a complete redo of a 1908 kitchen and a ballpark of what it might cost to fix it. We had to make arrangements for Lilli the dog each day and relied on knowing when they would be here so that we could make arrangements for her to be elsewhere for the day, working around our own work schedules. We tell everyone who has admired our house that Trehus did the work and we would contact no one else when it comes to “projects” that involve this great old house. Now if only Trehus did landscaping…….

David met with us over a year ago as we were starting to plan our new kitchen. He walked us through the whole design/build process, the timeline and the TreHus philosophy. We felt confident from the beginning that it would be a great working relationship. Dave, our Project Manager has been nothing but great! He kept to the schedule and made sure that all subcontractors delivered on time and on budget. If there was ever an issue, Dave was on top of it! He'd email us right away with questions and updates. He'd always offer up suggestions to make the design stay on budget but still look beautiful and function properly. The design team was super! John and Krista were wonderful to work with. They understood our needs better than we did, in many instances. We tore down the existing kitchen but basically used the same footprint. The space works so much better now than it did before and it isn't much bigger. And it really is a show stopper! Finally, Pat and Steve, our carpenters were the best. They were like members of our family for a while and some mornings I'm still wondering why they aren't working downstairs at 7:30 a.m. on the dot. Not only are they kind and fun to talk with, they are incredibly talented. They care about their work and it shows! Steve even fixed all of the creaky steps in our old house...something I never thought would happen! After the kitchen and garage were done, we started on phase 2 - updating the rest of the 1st floor to now match the new kitchen, mudroom, etc. They did a spectacular job! We are so thankful to TreHus for making this year-long, big project feel a lot easier than we ever anticipated. We are sure we'll be reaching out to them again!

We bought our first house at 2014th and are interested in doing all kinds of remodeling, renovation, and decoration. TreHus is a great company, very instrumental in getting our ideas done, would use them again. Great experience from top to bottom!

TreHus was respectful of our home, our space, our time, and our family. The designers and project manager were able to determine our values and our vision and make it their own, and they navigated some unexpected features of our 125-year-old home. In the end, our home was more structurally sound than before the project, and they were able to match the character of our distinctive millwork and flooring, thus preserving the character while improving the utility of the space. The final price tag was very high -- significantly higher than the quote -- due to initial underestimation of the subcontractor quotes and some substantial discovery items. But ultimately, we got the high quality that we paid for, and TreHus has been very responsive with questions and issues we've had since the project.

We could not be happier with the work that Tre Hus did on our kitchen. From the design team, to the project manager, to the carpenters - everyone was amazing and incredibly good at what they do. They presented us with a detailed schedule that outlined the entire 3 month project, and they finished on the exact date that they said would. We configured a master suite in a 1906 home. Project was completed in exactly 3 months. Someone on site working every day. We lived in the home during construction - every day at the end of work, the space was clean & organized. Very little disruption to the rest of the house. Good communication from TreHus and all subs. Very respectful of our space and the historical nature of the home.

As a cabinet manufacturer we have the opportunity to work with a lot of designers and builders. TreHus is doing an amazing job of taking projects from start to finish in a very professional manner. Their level of attention to detail is second to none.

We have used TreHus for 3 major construction projects. The most recent was an addition adding 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms to our home. So, almost like a new house construction minus the kitchen. The whole thing was done in a completely professional manner. They provided a binder with a timeline of when subs would be coming and what would be happening each day, how much everything would cost, and what we needed to do. We were kept informed every step of the way, and they finished exactly on time and on budget. I think that is pretty much unheard of. But, they told us we would be in the new space on November 1st and we were in the new space on Nov 1st. The quality of the work was excellent, the people who worked on the project were all super respectful of our family and home, and they all seemed really happy to be working for TreHus. I think that is the mark of a good business. Several of our friends have nightmare stories of working with contractors and unexpected cost increases. I felt like we got very good value for what we paid plus the peace of mind in knowing it would be done right seeing we had used them before with great results. We are very happy with the new addition and the experience/s we had with TreHus and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
