Ultimate Renovations was able to turn what seemed a daunting task into a very pleasurable experience. Our 91-year-old home in Crescent Heights was a charming character bungalow which we enjoyed for 40 years, but the upkeep was getting to be too much. Because of our confidence in Danny Ritchie and Murray Petkau, we chose to build a new home from the ground up on the great location of our old home. The result exceeded even our highest expectations. Our new home is beautiful and we have heard that repeatedly from neighbours, friends, and many people passing by. Ultimate' project manager, Darryl, guided us through every stage - we were always aware of what needed to be done and the timeframes that we worked within.And along the way, they guided us to first rate suppliers for fireplaces, tile, flooring, windows and doors etc. and led us to excellent upholsterers, landscapers and other trades. Ultimate was able to translate the work of our designer into everything she had created, and they were able to make some excellent changes that were thoughtful and insightful. Their experience over the many years as a company enables them to foresee and avoid possible problems even as construction is underway. The Ultimate team is, simply and without any exaggeration, amazing. Every one of their employees was skilled, talented, and helpful from the beginning of planning, through construction, to the final touches. And all of the employees and all of the tradesmen that were brought in were complimentary about the company. They like working for Ultimate, they like being a part of the high quality work and workmanship that the company takes pride in. We take great pride in our new home. Ultimate Homes was responsible for renovating our house featured on the Property Brother's HGTV show. It was a tremendous undertaking for Ultimate considering the short timelines and the demand for high quality. And they delivered! Ultimate worked tirelessly to renovate our house into our dream home. The crew was impeccably professional and highly skilled. Even after the camera crew was gone, Ultimate has been very responsive for touchups and guarantees the quality of their product. We were so fortunate to be in great hands with Danny and the team at Ultimate. The whole process was a whirlwind and they definitely were on our side the whole time.

We interviewed 3 companies and chose Ultimate Renovations. Thank goodness we did! We have a small townhome, but decided to renovate almost all of it, including turning the basement into a bedroom with full bath. We also built two additions - a bootroom and grew out a bedroom. We had already renovated our kitchen and main bathroom, so we have had experience with renovations. We highly, highly recommend you choose Ultimate. Their professionalism, craftsmanship and overall organization are truly second to none! They are far and away not the least expensive quote you will get, but this is absolutely a case where you get more than you paid for! Their quote is accurate, all encompassing and very, very detailed. Our total change orders amounted to less than 14% of our quoted total, and those changes were entirely based on my wife's and my decisions. It helps a great deal that they have nice homes for you to move into while the renovation is being done. We were out of our home for 7 months, and trust me, not having to look for a place to rent and store your furniture is a huge load off your plate! Ultimate was wonderful to work with and exceeded our expectations. Each stage of the process from start to completion was extremely positive. They continually showed a high level of professionalism, excellent communication and provided the highest quality of workmanship. We appreciated the transparent process which averted hidden costs and made for a stress-free experience. We definitely would use Ultimate again for future renovations and would highly recommend them to others.

We were undertaking a renovation of the 3 bathrooms/laundry room/windows of our 1970's vintage bungalow. The team at Ultimate were recommended, and after getting a few other quotes, were selected for the task. Bob and his crew were first rate. The scope of work detail, change orders and recommended suppliers were all top of the line. The advice we received regarding design was timely and suitable for the project and our budget. So why am I writing a review today, nearly 7 years later? To comment on the "after care" aspect of Ultimate's customer service! We had a small issue crop up so I called Bob. He came to the house, examined the issue, and said "No problem, I'll take care of it". And he did. The fellow who did the work had been part of the team that did the original job. A company that stands behind their work like that, that retains their skilled employees for that long, is clearly doing things right by their customers. I will whole heartedly recommend Ultimate to anyone considering a renovation. Thanks to all at Ultimate!

Never seen a company with as high a degree of craftsmanship as Ultimate Renovations. I can think of no higher recommendation.

Ultimate Renovations is by far the best renovator that I have used. They are prompt and professional and provide amazing high quality workmanship. All the staff are incredibly easy to get along with. I would recommend them to anyone.

I don't usually write reviews, but this definitely earns one. During a wind storm last fall, some of our siding came dislodged. I contacted Danny, who despite the warranty having lapsed, had someone come out to take a look. Within days, Gaston was onsite and made the repairs so that our siding now looks like new! He was very skilled and very professional. I will definitely recommend Ultimate!

I don't normally write reviews but I was so impressed and grateful for the team at Ultimate Renovations that I just had to. If you are thinking of hiring another contractor for your home renovation, don't do it! I hired what I thought was a reputable contractor to construct a wine cellar in my basement. That company is also listed on Houzz with a 5 star rating. We had checked all the credentials, websites, affiliations, references etc. and done all the necessary due diligence. Despite our careful research, we unknowingly hired the wrong team. Everything installed in our house was against manufacturers recommendations. (We only discovered this after we started asking questions and doing a little more digging.) After dealing with many contractors who didn't want to get involved, Danny and his team came to pick up the pieces and restore our piece of mind that the cellar will be constructed properly! Don't trust your home to anyone else.

We had a terrific experience using Ultimate for an extensive renovation project that included an entertainment room, bedroom with an ensuite and kitchen reconfiguration. We had a tight timeline with our friends from Australia coming to visit us only two and a half months from the start of the project. The Ultimate Project Manager, Bob, promised us the project would be finished on time and it was. Small issues arose during the project but they were resolved quickly. The professionalism and communication from Ultimate was top notch. We have had negative experiences with other companies on building and renovation projects so we really did our homework before selecting Ultimate for this project. They only use top notch trades people and they are expert project managers. We love the finished product and when we need any other work done on our house we will just call Ultimate.
