Steve and his team did a bathroom remodel for us in 2012 and did an excellent job. We sustained damage due to a leaking pipe and decided to give the space an overhaul. His team was professional and the result was great quality. We sold the house shortly after and the bathroom was a big selling point.

Great guys to work with. We took on a pretty extensive renovation on a 100 year+ old house. Stephen and Adam were very nimble in discussing options and adjusting along the way, which was very important to us when choosing our contractor. The subs were top notch and local. Not giving 5 stars because of a few communication/admin hiccups, but the end product turned out great.

The VCG team were all professional and thorough in the job that they did for me. I hired them to rebuild a staircase and replace all the railings on our front and back deck. They took the appropriate amount of time to measure, estimate, and plan for the job. The finish product was excellent and the team was great with communication throughout the build process. I would definitely recommend them and I will hire them again for the next build project that I have!

Above and beyond our expectations! Our home was built in 1906 and the VCG team ensured the home was functional & modernized without loss to the 100+ year old character. I'd be lying if I didn't say stress, time and emotions were part of the changes. However, the VCG team ensured we were as involved as we wanted to be. Every step the team removed barriers: completing on-time, within original budgeted estimates (even with a few size-able additions) and calmed stress with in-person conversations.

(Editing this review to better-reflect the text summary of the star rating, which should've equated to "I would not recommend this pro." Contracted for both kitchen and master bath remodel. The project wound up taking twice as long as originally estimated and costing roughly twice as much as we were originally told. We found there to be a lack of attention to detail in both the work and in communication with us. That said, the finished product has a nice overall look and solid feel, but the process was like pulling teeth. Happy to provide more details for those interested.

We hired Stephen and his team to update two bathrooms on our main floor. Stephen's subcontractors, especially the tile contractor, were very well qualified, solid workmanship and cared about their work, which is always critical. We struggled with the master bathroom vanity getting finalized and there were some unforeseen project delays, but the overall quality and outcome were very much in line with our expectations and the design. We also stayed on budget which was appreciated. It is a joy to walk in to the space each day.

Basement remodel including fireplace and custom woodwork. High quality work and great people. We have a low ceiling and duct work in our basement. Vertical came in with great suggestions to make the space more usable and executed on a design we couldn't be happier with.

Vertical Construction did an excellent job remodeling our kitchen and adding a bathroom. It was a remodel to our entire living space and the results are wonderful. When removing our structural wall, their experience and creativity was vital to get the results we wanted in our 108 year old house. They are excellent problem solvers! Vertical Construction has highly skilled carpenters and works with a team of wonderful subs. Vertical's team knows how to stay in budget, meet deadlines, and communicate with you. I highly recommend them and will be using them again for our next project.

We had Stephen and his team renovate our kitchen, completely. Including, new floors, cabinets, countertops, etc. Stephen visited almost daily and was very thorough with the work. He paid close attention detail and didn't allow for anything less than excellence from sub-contractors and his team. We appreciate the work VCG did and couldn't be happier with the completed job!

My husband and I chose Vertical Construction Group to remodel our kitchen and install hardwoods in our living room. We had a tight budget and big dreams and Steve and his crew made it happen! We had a few surprises which often happens in an old home, but Steve and Brian walked us through our options and we felt in control every step of the way. We were consulted at every turn and they treated our home with care and respect, not leaving a big mess at the end of every day. Brian is a gifted carpenter and really completed the kitchen with some beautiful finishing touches. I still can't believe we managed close to our budget and with a turn of only 8 weeks. We asked for a new fir living room door at the last minute and it totally changed the living room adding light and added warmth. Vertical is in the "yes" business and follows through with quality workmanship! I heartily recommend them.
