Our family decided to update the house. We called SMB Builders as we we were very satisfied with its services in building a complete legal basement apartment two years ago. Remodeling & renovation were completed recently. Excellent service and eye to detail. From concept to design & from contract to delivery, very professional communication. It was a complex project including full main kitchen renovation, 3 washroom rebuilds and flooring across the house. Further updates to house (paint, doors, fixtures etc. ) brought 20 years old home to new shine. It is a pleasure to live in the updated place. More importantly, a family emergency required changes in schedule. SMB was compassionate and full of empathy. All work was halted and rescheduled as per the family requirements.

I purchased an old run down townhome which was in need of a renovation. I was also looking for some inspiration. A friend of mine referred me to SMB builders. They gave me the suggestion to remove the middle wall and have an open concept, and add in a full washroom in the basement. To create additional space they shifted the laundry room to the basement, which really created more room in the house. The work quality they provide in the landscaping department is honestly unmatched and the attention to detail with my new pot lights, doors, and flooring is absolutely stunning. The work they did to my kitchen as well is breathtaking and really fit the theme I was going for in my home. The project manager and team were very responsive and friendly which was a real bonus to have. We hired Smb Builders for a major renovation and remodelling project, Smb builders assisted us from preparing drawings acquiring building permits. The project required both interior and exterior work including siding, driveway, entrance, deck, insulation, interior modifications, new plumbing and electrical, HVAC, drywall, and finishing. We found smb builders very knowledgeable, professional, and experienced throughout the different stages of the project. It took about 2 months for the planning phase and to get the building permits, and about 5 months for the actual renovation and remodelling of our home. The project manager was always prompt in responding to any queries we had and was always cooperative throughout the project. They showed a very strong skill set to manage our budget but still deliver us an amazing final result. They handled various challenges, and dealt with city inspections and outside entities in a professional manner.
