Working with Stephen and Shelley Sass of Sass Construction and Design completely transformed our home and our entire perception of the renovation process. As a true full-service interior design and general contracting firm, they eliminated the usual stress of remodeling, by managing every single detail from initial concept to the final coat of paint. We worked with them and their fabulous team to transform our kitchen, primary bathroom and secondary bathroom. Regarding the design, Shelley with her keen design eye and pursuit of perfection, captured our aesthetic perfectly, creating spaces that are both stunning and highly functional. Regarding the project management, Stephen, being the ultimate problem-solver, kept the project on schedule while brilliantly managing our expectations and the chaos of a busy job site. He was onsite every day from early until late, making sure everything ran smoothly and on time. Having the designer and construction crew under one roof meant zero communication gaps, zero finger-pointing, and zero delays. The crew arrived on time every day, kept a remarkably clean and tidy workspace, and treated our home with the utmost respect. If you want a beautiful and functional home without the headache of managing multiple independent contractors, Sass Construction and Design is the only way to go and worth every penny. Sass Construction and Design helped us out with our remodel of our master bathroom and second bathroom. Shelley and Stephen are an incredible team. The design planning with Shelley was easy and so much fun. Shelley was flexible with her time and generous with her advice. Stephen was prompt, courteous and on top of all the comings and goings of all the vendors. Their attention to detail and customer service was unparalleled and their calm "no fuss" demeanor meant that they were a pleasure to work with. Its always a great sign when all the vendors and workmen raved about each of them. They have loyal Subs and that speaks volumes. It was such an easy remodel and I can't recommend them enough.

Stephen (the project manager) and Shelley (the interior designer) sustained excellent communication before and throughout the process of converting our unfinished garage to a finished room. Their team completed the garage conversion project in accordance with the projected timeline. We were very happy with the quality of the finished room and would be happy to work with them again.

Shelley and Stephen Sass of Sass Construction and Design recently completed a remodel project of our primary bathroom, guest bathroom, powder bathroom, and laundry room. Shelley and Stephen worked hard to keep to our requested timeline, were extremely punctual and responsive, and took care of our home as though it were their own. Shelley has a very tasteful design aesthetic and it was easy to collaborate to determine exactly what we wanted and needed. She gently guided us along the way, with excellent, thoughtful, and thorough design advice. Her attention to detail (even the smallest!), enthusiasm for all aspects of the design/construction process, and energy in keeping everyone focused and on task was a marvel. Not one day was wasted due to misaligned schedules - everything hummed along brilliantly. We added a number of extra projects to the overall scope - and somehow and miraculously, they kept to the original timeline. Their fantastic sub-contractors ALWAYS arrived on time and I was definitely comfortable with them in my home (even when we were often out of town). Following thorough research, I decided to hire Shelley Sass of Shelley Sass Designs to renovate the kitchen and bar area in our recently acquired home. I cannot speak highly enough of her. Shelley and Stephen remodeled two bathrooms for me and the results are very stunning and have given me much joy and happiness. Every time I walk into the bathrooms I get so much pleasure. I work full time and was not around to manage my project, and I knew at every step of the way they were there managing things, taking care of things and looking out for my best interests. We worked with Shelley and Stephen to add a new room to our house, specifically a library room with lots of bookshelves and a window seat. From the beginning they were easy to work with and were tremendously helpful. They are both fantastic communicators and always explained every step of the process along the way. We started with just the idea of what we wanted and they helped shape that idea into reality. First they helped us with getting blueprints created and approved by the city. Once that was finished, construction began. Stephen was great in managing the whole project, making sure everything was timely and smooth. He coordinated with all the subcontractors and would always be there to meet them at our house. During construction Shelley helped design the interior with us and interface with the cabinetry company. She's very knowledgeable and we always felt like she valued our opinion as well. They made everything very stress free for us and we're so happy with how the room turned out. We overall loved working with them and would definitely work with them on any future projects.

I used Sass Construction and Design for a kitchen remodel in 2022 and was so pleased with the results that i hired them in 2023 for a bathroom remodel. Very professional and they are on top of every detail.. They have outstanding sub contractors as well. Shelly went with me to numerous tile and quartz stores to find the right designs for my vision.. Stephen checks in multiple times a day to make sure all is in order I also re did all the floor downstairs and the fireplace in the family room. The timeline was adhered to so no delays . I was pleasantly surprised that everything was done in time. I am planning on redoing the two remaining bathrooms next year and will definitely use Sass Construction and Design!
