Tideline Homes

I found Steve through houzz. This was the best decision I made when deciding to remodel my kitchen and bath. Steve and Michele were always on time, organized and had great communication. I will use Tideline Homes again for my guest bathroom down the road. I highly recommend them!

Steve was very easy to work with, his team worked very cleanly, were professional and did an amazing job! We removed old carpet and replaced with laminate floors on stairs and in bedrooms. He scheduled the job quickly, the price was fair and I love the results!

Our house had experienced water damage from a raccoon digging a hole in our roof under the solar panels. Water ran down the walls in my wife’s sewing room on the second floor and poured through the ceiling into our bedroom on the first floor. It took five days for a remediation company to dry the house. I found Tideline and Steve Nutwell, the owner, on Houzz with outstanding reviews and the expertise I needed. I actually called several contractors, but found Tideline to be the most responsive with reasonable pricing. I took the opportunity to not only have the water damage repaired but added a list of every item I could recognize to have our house totally refurbished. Lots of painting, drywall, carpentry work, plumbing, electrical, tile installation, LVP flooring, window installation, and even stuccoing our foundation. This project took many disciplines. Tideline and Steve brought together a fantastic team of craftsmen to complete our project. They asked questions as the work progressed to be sure I was satisfied and answered a lot of questions to be sure I understood their approach. If I saw something I thought needed attention they immediately addressed it. Steve was especially helpful with suggestions on issues I wasn’t sure how to address even small details. I really appreciated having him do this personally. He even adjusted his schedule to accommodate our needs. I’m extremely satisfied with the work Tideline did on refurbishing our house. It looks and feels like a new home. I personally recommend Tideline and wouldn’t hesitate in having them do future projects for us. They’re my go to contractor.

Tideline Homes performed the framing and full exterior finish on my home including the install of windows and doors. They were attentive to detail and worked with efficiency and care. Most importantly, they were readily available for all final punch out, cleanup and minor change orders as requested. I would use them again and recommend to any contractor in search of a reliable sub for these trades.

Hired Steve Nutwell a couple of years ago to convert a screened in porch to a sunroom. Needless to say I got taken for a ride. Lots of promises up front and not the delivery expected. The quality is poor, the communication was terrible. Roof is leaking, the part they replaced. Do your homework before you hire this company to do anything. They do not stand behind their work and are not an honest business. Steve Nutwell the owner does not answer phone calls or talk to you to resolve issues. He just hides behind his emails and text messages. Again do your homework before you hire Steve to do any work around your house. Record conversations and get everything in writing. Because Steve conveniently forgets things.

I hired Tideline to complete the siding, decks, and exterior trim on my new home inJames Island. Steve and the guys did a great job from start to finish including helping me work through unforeseen layout issues. The team was courteous, prompt, and cleaned up at the end of each day..... What more could you ask for?

Steve is really nice and easy to work with. I appreciated his patience throughout the construction process and his detailed eye even as the project was wrapping up. Definitely trustworthy and easy to get a hold of an communicate with any day or time. Glad we went with Tideline!

Steve and his team were fantastic. Our project was completed much more quickly than anticipated, it was completed according to the specs, and Steve even accommodated a few mid-project scope changes from us. Steve was very communicative and we knew what was happening every step of the way. Steve was also extremely helpful and consultative and was able to successfully guide us through a few key decisions. We highly recommend Steve!

Very professional and gets the job done right and more importantly; on time. Quality work as well, would highly recommend.

Steve and his crew at Tideline Homes worked on my home replacing the soffit, fascia, and changing out vinyl siding for Hardie board. The work was finished in a timely fashion and at a fair and reasonable price. I would definitely recommend them.
