Michaelson's Designs

We had Wendy Michaelson do all of the window treatments for our new home, and it was a wonderful experience! Wendy worked with me to choose all of the materials, and had great suggestions for the various designs in each room. She gave me a timeline and all the window treatments were hung prior to that date! She kept me apprised of progress and was absolutely punctual on every appointment. Her work is impeccable and we are very pleased with the end result! I would happily recommend Michaelson Designs to anyone looking to beautify their home!

she has alot of talant! she had such good ideas. her prices are really resonable! She had such a good idea about my bathroom!! I have never saw this idea done in a bathroom before.

Wendy made an original kitchen valance for my kitchen window plus slider panels (drapes) and pillows for my living room. We had a short time frame and Wendy came through for us! She went with me to choose the drapery fabric, and because of her acumen, we found what I wanted at a top store and bought it at a substantially-reduced price. My favorite part is the kitchen valance. She worked very patiently with me as we tried to design just what I wanted, and she did beautiful work on it with excellent attention to detail. I feel happy every time I see it, and I continue to receive many compliments on it.

Michaelson's Design does a beautiful job with custom draperies and window coverings. The owner has a great eye on how to bring life to any room. The designs are elegant, and the customer service is top notch. In addition to the work they did for me I have seen several other displays of their work that were all very impressive.

Michaelson's Designs gets 5 stars from me. I have a unique office at the front of my home that has a beautiful window but. The top of the window is in the shape of a half oval. Finding something to cover that portion of the window especially during the winter months was almost impossible until I found Michaelson's Designs. Wendy not only found the perfect blind to help shade my office from the south exposure sun but we found the perfect color. (PLUM) The blind is a honeycomb style that raises and lowers and was the exact shade of the office walls. Thank you Wendy! I can sit at my desk and not be blinded by the sun!

I have produced the designs that Wendy Michaelson has created for her clients, and she is always fresh and unique in what she does. Her color sense is impeccable, and her designs balanced and beautiful. She listens to her clients and works within their budget, doing a tremendous amount of behind-the-scenes work to make that happen. It takes research to find a deal, and Wendy works tirelessly to ensure that her customers are getting the best value for their money. With her, I have done pinch pleat draperies with banding and trim, one of a kind cornice boards, swags and jabots with out-of-this-world trims and accents, and complicated drop swags to enhance a small room. I always thoroughly enjoyed the creations she brought to me to be produced.

Wendy Michaelson is a craftswomen of the highest quality, her work is precise, clean, and beautifully constructed. Wendy listens closely to her clients needs and wants from which she is able to make window treatment design recommendations that meet clients needs. Working with Wendy is always a positive experience, her relaxed style and depth of knowledge make the experience effective and pleasurable. I have worked with Wendy on and off for several years on many projects, I am delighted that she has moved back to the northeast and look forward to working with Wendy again soon.
