What color are yours walls? I would use drapery panels in either a ivory or navy or you could possibly use ivory for spring/summer and navy for autumn/winter. You could also do an ivory panel with a navy or wine banding on the edge of the drapery .panels.

Yes to curtains, simple straight ones on either side. They don't need to be full enough to cover the window. These would just be for dressing. You have blinds for privacy. I would choose one of the gray or blue colors in your comforter. If you are planning to add furniture to the room (chair? bench?) get that first. Area rug? Get that too before you choose curtain colors. Curtains will help even out the room. Nice job!

Maybe a nice big area rug, sisal with some beige and grey to tie in your artwork above the bed

I would definitely use a light ivory cream color linen window treatment to add a nice soft cozy feeling to the room and maintain the strong focal in the case of the bed. The color would be something that is in the bedding now. Try the ivory/cream, the blue or the Gray and I think you will come away liking the soft ivory cream.

I'd also replace those blinds with ones that fit inside the window frame. You can get decent ones for a very reasonable price at Home Depot.

Have you considered using sheers alone? You already have the blinds for light control, so putting something slightly transparent over them might look nice.

Small room, I'd use a horizontal cell type shade. You can diffuse light during the day and for privacy. Not a kids room so black out capability not important. The shade will be cleaner looking and less cluttering. Why fight everything else in the room?

A roman shade made out of a neutral fabric with stationary drapery panels with french modern top pleats will bring your window treatment. The roman shade should be mounted inside your window frame. The panels should be mounted on a decorative drapery rod and will need rings which each pleat will hook into and hang off of.

I would do ALL accessories in white. Curtains, lamps, mirrors, thow, easy chair. Touches of gold or silver for metal detail. Night stands in silver or gold spray paint over CL night stands.

Nicole, I must say that I really love how you combined your bedding, with the back pillows and the tapestry behind. It feels refreshingly different, the color palette is perfect. Be sure to select a couple of nice lamps with soft white/ivory-cream linen shades for a cozy ambient light for your night stands. Make sure the are not too short, jus medium is fine. The lamps will show off your tapestry.

Hi Nicole, the shiny saturated red bases are way too crisp for the bedding. It will make your bedding and tapestry immediately look dull. You want the bed to be the center of attention, and the lights to be supporting players in your visual scenario. Softly illuminating, your great composition.

Hello again. I did a little search for a reasonable priced lamps. This one should give a nice high-end boutique hotel look. As long as the shade is not actually pinkish as it looks in this photo. Vendor says there are only 5 left. Price around $100.00

This one has a nice vertical element that mirrors the vertical nature and frames the tapestry. A linen drum shade is best, so this, or something like this, but with a soft white shade.

This one, like the first one has nice bedroom "curves" and high end look. This one is high-end as the price was a lot higher, I forget how much but the more info button will take you there.

Nicole in regard to the shape of the red lamps, they are too modern, or mid-century modern to go with the style that you are developing in your bedroom in my opinion. But you are doing great, and a few touches and this will be fabulous!
