Workshop Architecture + Design is a Seattle based architecture and design practice. We pursue architecture through a critical, insightful, and imaginative process of design. Dan Rusler was our primary architect for a complete, to-the-studs interior remake of a 1950 home. He pushed us to expand our vision of what could be done, then worked with us and our contractor very practically and thoughtfully to pare the project back to what we could afford - still achieving enough "wow factor" to make it exciting. Dan has a terrific eye. Would definitely hire Dan and W/AD again!

The team at Workshop AD was responsive and respectful during the course of design and building of our project. They were very helpful tracking our permit, and during construction they very responsive to questions that came up, saving both time and money.

Workshop AD is a team of experienced architects with the rare ability to balance refined design with the practical and functional realities of constructability, use and everyday life. Steve and team listen well, are responsive to client requirements (program, budget, schedule, etc.), have a deep roster of resources and can efficiently move a project from conceptual design thru permitting and construction administration.
