She was patient and generous with her time, helping us select the gorgeous peacock design we wanted, the stained glass with colors and texture that transformed the design when seen in background illumination versus natural light. His work is painterly and ethereal and just when you think you know his style you see something completely different. I love the process of working with them to custom make an art piece for a client. For a recent custom made painting, when paint brush came to canvas it was spot on to where we were in our head and exactly where we were when thinking about the piece. They donated a very large, gorgeous painting for a room I designed at a charity event and it was meant to capture the feeling and freedom of the sea. The painting was meant to reside over the fireplace in this French seaside dining room and it became the star of the space with the perfect palette and feeling, and this abstract painting added a modern element to the otherwise quite traditional space.
