“Peter Walls and his colleague were awarded the faux finishes state contract for the Louisiana landmark Old Governor's Mansion during this building's 90s restoration. This landmark, built by Governor Huey P. Long in 1929, is a smaller replica of The White House. Peter transformed the East Room, the Foyer, the Grand Stairway, the Jimmie Davis Room into a palatial monument with their talent and paint. To this day visitors think they are surrounded by marble, that they are looking at gold plated trim, and that they are within a jewel box, Wonderful artist and gentleman. Many thanks Peter!
