“I have been collecting Steven's art since the late 80's and watched his evolution as an artist through the years. I have some of his early mono prints, representational pieces, abstract landscapes, and his current nature abstracts, based on the beautiful vistas in the mountains of western North Carolina. I also commissioned a large (5 feet by 4 feet) piece--a collage--which is one of my all-time favorites. It could rightly be named "Salvation," as it has a Christian theme told with shape and color. Steven's color sense is extraordinary, his combinations unexpected and original. He tells a story with color and line, and joy comes through all of his work--the joy of painting itself, and the joy and beauty of the world, in both representational and abstract form. I would encourage those who love bold, creative and vibrant work to check out Steven's art.”

The counters and sink were poured in place and it was a multi-step process. Andy was as precise in the measuring and forming of the structure as he was in the polishing and finishing phases of the project. My "natural finish" probably doesn't suit everyones personal tastes, but there are as many options and techniques with concrete, as there are coloring and accents. I customized my sink by adding a personal item. For me, my countertop and sink are just perfect! It was a pleasure working with someone who is so knowledgeable about their craft and who cares about quality as much as he does.
