“Joel's work creates a continued sense of artistic pleasure for me and those that discover the aesthetic beauty of his work in my home. Joel and I partnered on a piece, Sycamore Lady, a figurative sculpture in a soft white finish. Placed in my dining room, the simplistic linesof this sculpture, coupled with its unique finish and natural wood base, draw guests' attention that lingers in conversation over dinner. I found Joel to be attuned to the fact that people have emotional responses to art and he honored mine. Additionally, he answered a multitude of questions patiently and fully throughout the project. The budget we established was honored as were the timelines for shipment. And, the piece was wrapped to fully protect the sculpture. Joel also responded to my phone calls and emails. Take time to view Joel's website which displays portofolios of his works in wood and bronze; the experience simulates a gallery walk. The portofolios helped me narrow my focus to abstract figuratives and the desired finish.
