“I met Shana Rowe roughly three years ago. My mother had just passed away and I needed someone to paint a portrait of her and my youngest son using nothing other than a picture of my son and a picture of my mother. I knew it was asking a lot of someone to be able to make it look real. Like Nana was really holding the youngest grandchild. She absolutely nailed it!! It was so life-like, right down to my mothers big ears, and the little gap between my son's two front teeth. She put so much love into that painting and all I could do when I saw it was cry.
