MJ redid our main staircase including the millwork and she did an excellent job. She coordinated the finish with our flooring and furniture. The coloring and faux graining was professional. She was meticulous in her approach. MJ also helped us with furniture placement and we incorporated almost all of her suggestions. We were delighted in the outcome of this placement. We plan on rehiring MJ soon to help us with completing our home.

We did a HUGE renovation/restoration and MaryJane was one of about 4 or 5 contractors that I would recommend. She showed when she said she would. She worked all day; she was the last contractor to leave. Just her ability to choose colors is amazing. We were set on wallpaper, but our designer convinced us to have MJ paint the walls instead. They're breathtaking. Not one person has figured out that it isn't wallpaper. When my husband saw what she did, he just said, "Have Mary Jane do whatever she wants". She has painted "wallpaper", she transformed aluminum ceiling tiles in to antiqued tin, she has painted medallions on ceilings and has chosen colors for rooms that I was very hesitant about, but once she was finished they're gorgeous. I can't recommend her enough. If nothing else, have her come, walk through your home and recommend colors. Then let her go to work. Just do one room if you're not sure. I guarantee you'll be hooked. Oh and we found her rates to be beyond reasonable! Purchasing and putting up wallpaper would have been double the cost!

I have been working with Mary Jane since I purchased by house (about 8 years ago now). She has great ideas and does immaculate work. She has selected colors and painted every interior wall of my home. She has arranged furniture that I owned and assisted with the purchase of furniture and accessories where needed. The best decorative painting work I have yet seen Meticulous, artistic and an unmatched eye for color and pattern. Aside from terrific original work, she was able to flawlessly repair a ceramic floor crack and repair a damaged faux finish she had not originally painted. And a pleasure to work with.

When a friend of ours recommended someone she knew to paint a mural on our dining room ceiling, I had no idea a true artist was about to arrive! We wanted a skyscape mostly of clouds and some local birds flying that we were inspired to recreate after visiting a grand estate in Newport, RI! No small feat for sure!
