Local Carpenters Near Portland Maine

“Nick Rofe of Three Sons Carpentry is clean, professional and good natured. Whether you appreciate his work ethic or his well educated wit, you will be glad that you hired him. He built a deck that will outlive me, installed a handrail on my stairs, installed a sliding glass door in my kitchen, and completed all trim work in a 1900's home with no straight lines or square corners. He was on-time, on-budget, and accessible via his cell when I had questions. After working as a property manager and dealing with a myriad of contractors, I couldn't ask for a better or easier experience.”

“After meeting Stefan at ICFF last year I was impressed with the quality of his work and the ease of his personality. Soon after I commissioned him to make a coffee table for me utilizing wood and metal. The process was easy. He was professional, attentive to detail and timely. And in the end I have exactly what I wanted. I would recommend Stefan and I hope to work with him again.”

“Tim is one of the best. I am a kitchen designer and have worked with him on multiple projects. He is smart, skilled, articulate, and has impeccable integrity. And his prices are fair. Hiring a contractor is a challenging. They need to be skilled, yes. But they also need to communicate well. They need to help you anticipate. They must manage your expectations. They need to explain options objectively and respect your perspective. Tim does all these things in addition to being a highly experienced and skilled carpenter/installer/GC. I recommend him often and enjoy working with him.”
