Majid took a very hands on and responsive approach to a complex water runoff and porch reconstruction project in Bethesda. He was great about making sure costs were explained well, and refreshingly candid about a "scope creep" issue that made one of his subcontractor bids untenable. That candor led to a design conversation and ultimately a less costly solution. High marks for attentiveness and communication; would not hesitate to use him again

Majid and his team did a superior job on our sunroom addition. From start to finish, Majid delivered on our vision. His team showed up promptly every morning and worked very hard throughout the day. Majid personally checked on their progress at least once and sometimes twice a day. He always answered our emails and texts promptly. When problems arose, as they do with any renovation, he worked with us to rectify the problem. In the end we couldn’t be any happier with the finished product; we just love it. We wholeheartedly recommend Ascend!

Ascend did an outstanding job on a complete renovation of our kitchen, master bath, and powder room for our home in Bethesda. Excellent communication as well as design/build skills. Creative problem solver. Fantastic crew - pleasure to have in the home. Highly recommend the Amish kitchen cabinet subs as well. Would hire this team again!

Majid quickly responded to my job request for a screened porch and was very professional from our first meeting. He provided quotes for two different project scopes we were considering to help us decide. He quickly mobilized a team and began work after we signed the paperwork. Majid provided us with daily updates as his team worked on the project. The team worked through inclement weather at times and did a fantastic job on our porch. The entire project was completed within the time frame originally quoted without any surprises or cost overruns. We would highly recommend Ascend.

I hired Ascend to build my unfinished basement. I didn’t have a lot of time to pick out tiles, flooring or paint colors. Majid helped me out with all that and was really patient with my indecision. Ascend were not the least expensive of the proposals I had but Majid and his outfit were worth it. I highly recommend Ascend.

We hired Ascend to build a replacement for the garage at our new home in Chevy Chase. The entire process--from design, to permits, to construction was characterized by consummate professionalism. We live 2500 miles from the project site, but we never had any doubt about where the project stood. Majid gave us (nearly) daily updates on the project, including photos and videos, and he was always incredibly responsive to our questions and occasional changes. There were no hidden costs or nasty surprises--he delivered on budget. We'd hire Ascend again in a heartbeat.
