Jason was amazing. Our kitchen was done on budget, on time and beautifully. When we had a few issues pop up (as is common with a remodel) he fixed them promptly and made sure we were happy with the work. We hired Benchmark for a 2-bathroom renovation, and they did a great job. Jason and his team are extremely professional and reliable. We used Benchmark Construction to fix a kitchen remodel gone bad. We had terrible contractors that left us with a job no one wanted to touch. They came in and saved the day. They showed up everyday bright and early and cleaned up when they left. I never minded having their crew in our home and things were done properly. We will absolutely be using them again in the future.

Benchmark did multiple projects for us over the past two months. Baseboards in two rooms, new door, replaced some light fixtures, replace a portion of a back yard fence, fixed dry on outside of house, painted outside of house and painted three bredrooms inside house. Cost estimates were done timely and accurate. Work was completed in a timely manner and done with high wuality.. the Benchmark staff are very professional. Only disappointment was we had four skylights we wanted to replace and Benchmark had a hard time trying to figure out hjow to do this work. I found another company to replace the skylghts that specializes in skylights. I will definitely call Benchmark if we have home improvement projects in the future

When I have had work done, or my clients by Benchmark Construction, they were very courteous, polite, on-time, and got the job done when they said they it would be completed. We had Benchmark Construction do our master bath remodel and were thrilled with the process and the outcome! We had started with another contractor that didn't work out and asked the team at Benchmark if they could pick up with some of the design already done and some items already ordered to help us complete the project. They did so without missing a beat! They referred us to great vendors to pick out the items that were still needed. Their crew showed up on time every day. They were clean and tidy throughout the project. And very respectful and helpful with our neighbors who were occasionally impacted by work on the project (we are in a condo). Jason Bliss oversaw an extensive remodel of our (circa) 1985 condo in Walnut Creek in Fall 2013. He was unfailingly courteous and he and his team (electrician, painter, tile installer, fine carpenter and cabinetmaker) did beautiful work. When Benchmark came to our house it was like a breath of fresh air. Jason listened to everything we wanted and needed (cabinets, drawers, lights, paint, removal of upper cabinets to open up the kitchen, electric, install new appliances, water hook-up etc.), took extensive notes, asked questions and gave us some helpful and practical advise since we were keeping to a budget. I received the estimated bid within a couple of days. It was clear, concise & easy to understand. The bid on both the kitchen and bathroom were right on and even less then the original bid. Couldn't have been more pleased. Jason, along with his brother Scott closely manage their crews. They paid close attention to details. They respond quickly to any messages and texts and come by everyday to check on the progress of the work. The work went faster and better then anticipated. This is a company who hires professional subs who have excellent communications and are very cordial. They are all about 100% satisfaction. They clean up neatly everyday and are very mindful not to damage anything in the house. Guest bathroom - this was a full remodel from custom vanities, under mount sinks, title floors, shower doors & trim, including a beautiful mosaic, shower niche, toilet, exhaust vend w/heater, repair cleaning & walls, paint and so much more. Jason listened to our specific needs, gave us great suggestions and ideas which made even better then we expected. He's very at blending our ideas together. They did an excellent job. This company has been a dream to work with. They do better than most other companies in communicating with all of the trades, have been great with communicating the steps involved in our project. They stand by their work and it is wonderful!!! I have never had a time when a deadline was overlooked, their budget was always well done. I will continue to work with them again and again. There have been many contractors that I find go the cheaper route simply to pad their bottom line but I have seen that they value quality craftsmanship especially in the finishing trades and it shows leaving remarkable work. The attention to detail in the trim to the overall work of remodels well they do a great job the first time every time.
