Shawn Shad is an excellent contractor and we will hire him for all our projects. He is thorough, did a good job at informing us what our options were, kept a tidy work space and cleaned up completely after finishing the project. He installed a new window, a door where the framing had to be restructured and fixed another door to look like new instead of completely replacing it. He has also drawn plans for a remodel of our master bedroom suite, which will be our next project with Shawn. We have finally found the contractor that does it all without the headaches!

The project renovated three bathrooms and expanded a walk-in closet. New sinks, faucets, toilets, countertops, hardware, ceilings and light fixtures in all. In Master, moved window, moved expanded and tiled shower, replaced tile floor, replaced walls, put in a wall and door to isolate from bedroom, while expanding walk-in closet. In Master, replaced cabinets also, in other two rooms, refinished and refurbished cabinets, replaced shower tiling. Comwest listented closely to our requiements and designed excellent solutions, always involving us. Comwest managed within our cost parameters as well. They completed work within the overall schedule that we mutually agreed on Overall experience was excellent.

Our home was 20 years old and we were interested in making some kitchen upgrades. Not knowing anything about construction we were extremely lucky to contact Shawn Shad. Shawn is very creative and came up with some amazing designs taking all of our wishes into consideration and making recommendations to greatly improve the space we had to work with. We ended up not only remodeling our kitchen, but also the adjoining eating area, family room and updating the fireplace with a lovely wood mantel. Shawn updated our living/dining room by replacing our carpet with durable wood flooring and then made the elegant addition of crown molding thru-out the 1st floor. Shawn made a recommendation that I would not have dreamed we could do. He swapped a very small half bath and a moderate size laundry area off our family room to provide us with a very nice size bathroom and a workable laundry area. Shawn then finished up by replacing all of our aluminum windows with energy efficient vinyl windows and added some molded trim accents giving our tract home a little personality. Shawn was fabulous to work with, friendly, responsive, fair and very respectful of our home and time. The quality of work his team provided and Shawn’s attention to detail turned our average home into a place we are very proud of. We would definitely use his services for any future projects, and would highly recommend him to anyone wanting to improve the looks, quality and value of their home.

We had purchased a house that needed major remodeling. Shawn was able to completely remodel our kitchen and 2 of the four bathrooms, plus open up the living/dinningroom/family rooms into an amazing great room. The project was done in a timely manner which exceeded our expectations. Shawn had wonderful desing ideas which made our life simpler and made the house even more attractive. He was extremely professional and dealt with all the little details that I did not want to handle. He was very proficient, knowledgeable, and experienced about the process. Everything was documented in the contract. The amounts of surprises were very minimal. He was very clean and on time. He has a high integrity on the level of his work and pride on his creation.
