The cabinet door has a vintage look, and I do not believe it ever will be "dated." I definitely would keep the style. I do like the contrast of the simple, brass pulls. If you do not like the pulls, however, you may want to replace them with something you believe enhances the style of the cabinets.

A simple straight divided light glass door is better for longevity, and easier to place items within.

IMO that is a bit too over the top for me but a lot would depend on the rest of the house .

Sometimes decisions like this have to do with other design details in the home. Also, how many of your cabinets will have these glass doors. You can over do any good idea.

BTW I would select polished nickel hardware for the kitchen instead of the gold tone.

I love the look but it really depends on what type of house you have. If it's a simple ranch, for instance, I'd not use this pattern. If it's a vintage house and you have more of a "grand" style, then I would go ahead!

Everything looks dated to some degree eventually. Those are nice, without the gold hardwarre. If you love them, go for it.

intwresting! Thanks for the opinions! It does look a little busy which makes me second guess the idea. This is the area leading into the current kitchen, would this style of kitchen be fine in this space? I won't be keeping every cabinet in glass, only a few.

The doors are gorgeous, but a little busy for my taste which is why I would only put in a couple, maybe where you put your dishes, glasses, etc. Kind of like an accent. But always remember it's your kitchen and you are the only person that needs to love it. We all have different tastes.

Pretty home. I like those intricate cut cabinets too but you need the right home/space to make those work. I think your last picture (below) idea is perfect for your space. "Dressy" but nice and fits the home/space.
