We hired Jim to re-do our kitchen. We are younger clients and this was our first major renovation. The only thing I can compare this with is wedding planning- so many details, knowing which local companies have the best products/services for our needs, getting the timing of each step just right, and of course keeping us calm and confident during the process. Jim did an excellent job. He answered all emails promptly and met with us on multiple occasions. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable with the project including meeting with us personally at Gerhard's to shop for cabinets, countertops, etc. He was flexible when we asked for some last minute adjustments. He trusted our vision and made it happen and now we have a kitchen that looks like it came out of a magazine. It helped that we were present for most of the renovation and had input into many of the smaller details that mattered to us. His quote was spot on, no hidden charges, and the price did not change even though we had some plumbing and electrical issues come up (50K included removing a wall, custom cabinets, new wood floors, quartz countertops, high end finishings). He finished on time, about 6 weeks, even though part of our countertop that had to be recut. Best of all he genuinely cares about his clients and their satisfaction.

My wife and I moved into a home last summer that we built with Dane Building Concepts. We really enjoyed the entire process from first sitting down and discussing our floor plan and layout to eventually making all of the selections of materials that would be in our home. Jim Lampe and his team met all of our needs and exceeded our expectations. We have been so pleased with the work and love everything about our new home. If we ever build a home again, we would for sure go through Dane Building Concepts and we recommend using them to friends and family for their remodeling and building needs.

Jim was great to work with during our kitchen remodel. He adjusted to our personalities and desires, and made us feel good about our decisions. We have several friends and family that are very impressed with his work. He finished the job before the estimated schedule and slightly under budget!
