I hired Geo to build platforms for a custom built-in sofa and a sectional in my Brooklyn row house. He did excellent work, these platforms look beautiful and are rock solid. I couldn't be happier. When I ran into a problem with an interior designer over his head who designed terrible upholstery, Geo was there to help rescue the project. I'm truly grateful for not only his expertise and craft, but also his sense of kindness and patience. I'm hiring him to build a few more shelves in my home. I HIGHLY recommend Geo Projects to anyone looking for fantastic, clean, super high quality custom woodwork. If I could have done it all over again, I would have hired Geo and fired the designer, who screwed it up. Luckily, Geo is fixing it.

We recently moved into a new build, and we hired Geo's company to help us with three projects in the apartment (a long media unit bench, a bar, and wine cooler installation). From the start, Geo was very involved with the design process. He spent the time to get to know us, our style and what exactly we needed day-to-day. He was very patient as we went back and forth communicating, until we confirmed every little detail and measurements on the plan. And of course, all the time, effort and labor paid off! The final products are beautiful. Geo used the finest wood materials, and along with his team of experts, the pieces came out to be perfection - beautiful and functional. Something I want to highlight is his attention to detail. Little things I've observed that go a long way were the way he wrapped each piece during transportation and the way he cleans up at the end of every workday. In summary, it was a pleasure to work with Geo and we highly recommend his service for those that love quality wood, minimalistic style and a headache-free renovation experience.

I absolutely love my custom cabinets designed and built by Geo. I described what I was looking for and he sketched it out, with some recommended design changes, to maximize the space where I was looking to build. We live in a small studio apartment in the East Village. We hired Geo to build a loft bed, with a wall partition attached, to give us more space and privacy while maximizing the footprint of the apartment. What Geo delivered exceeded all our expectations – he transformed the space from a one-person studio into a small one-bedroom. Geo is skilled, creative, passionate, and a pleasure to work with. Geo did an amazing job on a set of bookcases for my living room. He came up with drawing and materials suggestions based on my vague design criteria, built a beautiful unit with great detailing, and installed it efficiently and safely during Summer 2020.

I hired Geo for the somewhat unconventional request of refinishing and replacing veneers on delicate, high end speaker cabinets. Geo and his team did incredible work. I was recommended by a friend. We are both designers. Geo built a shoe and storage closet based on a rough sketch and measurements I provided him. He revised it and sent me back a proper spec and sketch. I wanted a specific wood and finish. The closet only had 9” depth. So the challenge was to get as much storage out of that. He delivered everything I asked for at a quick timeline. It looks amazing. I’m truely happy with the results..Every women’s dream is to have a shoe closet.
