JJH Construction Inc. is a commercial and residential construction company based in the San Diego area. We have 20 full-time employees along with two equal owners. Our office is in the East Village part of downtown San Diego. Joshua Hamilton started the company over ten years ago. He has a California B (general contractor) license. Joshua has been in the construction industry for over 22 years. He has been responsible for a myriad of commercial, residential and multifamily projects over that period. Joe Auksel, the other half of JJH Construction Inc., has been in the field for 30 years. Joe has a California B (general contractor) license, a California C-9 (drywall, steel stud, acoustic ceiling) license, and an AZ B-1 (commercial unlimited scope general contractor) license. Together their skill sets complement each other in a way that sets them apart from all other general contractors. JJH Construction Inc. varies in their client type as well as the skill set required for each particular clients’ needs. We are as comfortable in a commercial build out as with a custom ground-up residential project. Our general superintendent Robert Bruce rounds out the leadership with 20+ years of mainly commercial experience. Robert has done a variety of multifamily projects, banking institution ground ups, as well as school ground ups to name a few of his more impressive credentials. Along the way he has completed restaurant builds, office spaces, tenant improvements, home additions, as well as residential remodels. JJH Construction Inc. is maintained behind the scenes by Angelo Butler. He is in charge of much of the daily office operations, client advocate, internal and external customer service. Angelo came to JJH Construction Inc. many years ago with a master’s degree in Communication and a doctorate from the University of Chicago in Behavioral Science. He is a great asset to the JJH team as well as the voice at the other end of the phone much of the time to our clients. JJH Construction Inc. prides itself on being in the sweet spot of construction company sizes. We are big enough to do nearly any size project and small enough to be nimble and responsive to our clients’ needs. We lack the multi-layers of management that many of the bigger general contractors have, and we are much more capable than the small mom and pop shops.
