JOHN WILSON CONTRACTING

A few years ago, we contacted John about doing some renovation work on our house in Schertz, TX. We are from out of town and did not have local connections in Texas. John and his crew were extremely helpful with their advice, with finding high quality building materials at reasonable prices, and with getting our work done quickly. As with many projects, there were some surprise conditions that were discovered during the work. John worked with us to get everything repaired and renovated to our satisfaction. We highly recommend John Wilson Contracting.

I have known John and his wife for a very long time. I had a refrigerator line leak in my home which damaged my hardwood floors. Because my flooring was no longer available I had to replace the floors in kitchen, dining room entry hall, walkway around living area and breakfast room. Because I had so much work to be done I asked John if he would update my kitchen and breakfast area, dining room and living room. John helped in selecting paints and redesigning all areas. I picked out new light fixtures, ceiling fans and hardware to compliment all the work that was done. When John finished, I had 4 new rooms, freshly painting, new mantel (designed by John), all new baseboard, new flooring , crown molding in dining room and an updated kitchen. I have had so many compliments on how everything was so beautifully done. When John completed this job, I asked if he would see if he could design an patio cover by extending and incorporating in my already existing roof line. He was able to design a pitch room with skylights and extend my existing patio by laying paving stones to tie it all together. It is like have another room added on to my home. John is experienced contractor and would recommend him to do a very professional job.

I recently used John Wilson Contracting. His experience and knowledge of what I needed was very helpful. After the remodeling, I was very satisfied and will continue to use him and will refer him to all my clients and friends. He is very honest and knew exactly what I wanted. I will certainly use him again.

During the remodel of my husband's and my studio, I kept wishing I had known John when we did the major remodel of our craftsman bungalow near downtown San Antonio. He foresees problems before they occur, and keeps them from happening. Everything is done with the benefit of years of experience and hard work and a conscientious character. The final product is a delight. He was recommended by my architect and I was glad I listened.

Basically, we had a pipe bust inside the house and flooded done of the rooms. The wood flooring wad ruined in places. I had to have a water restoration company dry out everything, then they referred John to me. He was great! He came in took measurements and got the estimate to me and the insurance company promptly. As soon as I received the money, he started right away explaining everything along the way. I had three rooms and the hallway tiled by John, and it looks amazing! I am very pleased with the outcome and my house looks much better than before! I can't thank him enough.
