Owners Lance, and especially Jody, were very helpful in deciding what to do, picking out items to order, and getting the work actually completed. They held our hands all the way! Jody even went with us to pick out countertops (twice!), backsplash tiles, and appliances, sinks, and fixtures. Communication between us was excellent. They helped us solve any problems and answered questions right away. The results of our updating project turned out beautiful!

We hired MHR Design Texas to remove the corner jacuzzi tub in our master bathroom and transform that space into built-in storage with a bench. The tub took up way too much space, and we wanted to make that area was more functional. Jody helped us think through the design in a practical way so the finished product would feel intentional instead of like a retrofit. What we appreciated most was how they handled the details. When the bench drawers needed adjustment, the carpenter came back and made it right. The painter returned to touch up areas that needed attention. New door hardware was ordered and installed to finish the entire look. They were flexible with scheduling and worked around times that were best for us. At every stage, they were communicative, and it felt like our project mattered. The end result is an updated, more usable space that makes sense for how we live. We’d certainly work with MHR Design Texas again.

MHR truly nailed our bathroom countertop remodel! From the first chat to the final touch, they took such great care of everything. We’re so happy with how our new countertops have given our builder-grade bathrooms that extra high-end feel.

Even though my project was small (1/2 bath makeover), MHR Designs gave it priority. And yes, small jobs can hit bumps, but teamwork prevailed. A new barn door, new cabinet with sink, new tile flooring and new mirror transformed this room. A huge thanks to Lance, Jody and team for everything!!!

I have used MHR designs twice this year and recommend them to friends and family! They are great. Jody Luna, designer, helped me with the first project which was painting the outside of my mid century modern house. She chose the perfect green and then followed with helping me design my yard to make the overall look fresh and updated. I couldn’t be happier with the results. My second project was to redo my primary bedroom. It was white and very contemporary. We decided to go for a more dark, dramatic vibe. Jody put shiplap on the pitched ceiling and stained it a perfect wood color. Then she painted the walls a deep, deep, navy blue. In addition, Jody used accent colors of camel and off white with a splash of green and burgundy which makes this room feel like a private sanctuary to read, sleep, or watch tv. The art and accessories presented represent sailing, horses, and architectural structures. It really is an ideal place to relax. She finished the en-suite bath by using existing white tile and painting the walls and ceiling the same navy used in the bedroom. Art in shades of blue creates layered texture and cohesiveness. Towels in a light silver with a navy monogram finished the bath. Overall, Jody definitely started with a blank slate and made a beautiful living area that I’m so proud that it’s mine. I would certainly recommend MHR Designs. Jody and associates really made my house a home!

In May 2024, the walls came tumbling down. After only 2 months with the tremendous help of all the different crews of MHR Texas and Jody Luna, I now have a gorgeous new living space!!! I can’t say enough about their professionalism and dependability!

MHR helped me design and redo my two master bathrooms. They were easy and helpful to work with. Everything was done in a timely manner and very communicative about who was showing up and when. I was very pleased with the outcome. Everything is working great, not a thing I would change. I would highly recommend MHR for your next remodel.
