Over the years, flooring had been updated in pieces. We simplified things by replacing all the downstairs flooring with a consistent, natural material that can handle kids, the dog, and the daily rhythm of a busy home without feeling precious.
The cabinetry was designed with a real cook in mind. A prep sink, spice pullout, and generous storage keep everything close at hand. In the breakfast area, a built-in cubby system now corrals backpacks and keeps devices charged, helping mornings run just a little smoother.
