Slava was great to work with, always responsive, and great with solutions, staying on budget, and listening to us. We bought a house, and decided to do water proofing and have them re-pour the concrete floor. This meant the basement had to be gutted. I didn't expect it to be so hard to find someone to rebuild only what we wanted to do. Everyone was only interested in doing everything as a package which included a bunch of stuff I didn't want. I got in touch with Slava because I saw a bunch of reviews that specifically said how he easy to work with in only doing the work that was asked. So when I said we want to put walls back up, and rebuild the bathroom that was taken out with the addition of a shower there was no pressure to do anything else. Slava offered suggestions when things came up as they do with any project, but these were always really useful. He suggested rerouting some ducting to get height in the new shower (which our HVAC contractor did).Since we'll eventually replace our windows, he made it easy to remove the inserts... Knew we eventually wanted to redo parts of the kitchen and upstairs bath, so suggesting running some of the plumping through the basement now to make it easier to do later. He figured out how to make it so we could get our standard appliances into the basement (saving us from buying new, smaller ones), etc. So a couple of additions, but also knew we were on a budget and so was not fused about something like putting the floor down (I can handle that). I think he was only surprised we didn't want them to put a ceiling up (I use the basement in part as a studio/recording space, and have a plan which doesn't work with a drywall ceiling). All pricing was transparent, and provided all receipts for materials that he arranged, or had us go pick out what we liked and brought it back.

I wanted structural beams put on the main floor to have an open concept living space. After doing some research Slava came in with the best price (by far) and with the quickest completion date. I’m so happy I went with him. Everything went so smoothly, and the place looks beautiful now. You will not regret choosing Slava for your project.

Slava did a great job updating my old bathroom. He is knowleadgeable, experienced and gave great advice on small details I wouldn't think of myself. Everything was done on time and on budget. I absolutely recommend and will definitely rehire him for any future projects.

I've recently converted my single-family detached house into a legal duplex. Slava has FLAWLESSLY worked with me on this beginning-to-end, from identifying an architect to do the drawing, to getting all construction permits from the city, to a full completion of the construction. Slava is a 360-skilled professional with a big heart. He just shows up and makes everything easy! I highly recommend him.

Slava came to remodel my basement. We needed to lower the entire floor by 3 feet and do full renovations, including moving the boiler, demolishing and building new walls, installing shower and kitchen. Slava and his team worked tirelessly and invested a lot of care and effort in making sure the project was done to my vision. Thank you Slava and team. My husband and I decided to do a full house renovation this year. We spent a long time looking for the right company to hire that we could really rely on. We came across R&M and decided that they would be a good fit for us. I was very impressed with their craftsmanship and attention to detail. I hired Slava and team to build an addition to my house, the total expansion was around 400 sqf and included the expansion of 2 floors and the roof. I was impressed with their time management and the price i paid for the job. Great team, easy to communicate with, fully understood my vision and made it come to life.

My family and I decided it was time to update our kitchen. It had been quite a few years since we'd done so. We chose R&M because they had come so highly recommended by our friends, and I am very glad we did. The crew worked efficiently to replace all cabinets and appliances in our kitchen. Slava and his team just finished our bathroom and I felt compelled to write a review. A lot of times, people only write reviews for bad service or work that was poorly done, so I thought I'd take the time to recognize some excellent work. I was beyond impressed with R&M's work. We had at least 4 different contractors come over to check out the job and give us quotes. R&M came in at the best price. On top of that, he really worked with us to get it within our budget. With a baby on the way and limited funds, his flexibility was MUCH appreciated. Not one of the other contractors was willing to work with us in that way. Slava was beyond professional and stayed on top of every subcontractor to make sure they got their work done on schedule. I would definitely hire Slava and his team again, and hopefully we have a chance to. He was such a pleasure to work with and I really do trust him. I will also be referring him to all my family and friends. I'd say we got more than expected for the money we paid.

After a disappointing job by a previous contractor I hired Slava and his team to complete the retiling of my shower. They came to my home and walked me thru the issues with the previous job while outlining in simple terms how much it would cost to repair the previous work. over the course of the next week the job was completed to well beyond my expectations, I would definitely recommend the guys at R&M to any friends and family in need of contract work.

I contracted R&M to install hardwood flooring in my house they did such an good job that when I was considering replacing my countertops with marble I knew exactly who to call. They came out the next day, provided me with a quote and description of exactly what my money would be buying. The work was completed in a timely fashion and I am more than satisfied with my experience working with this company.
