I HIGHLY recommend this company. We recently had our first floor renovated and worked with Mark and his team. They all did an amazing job and we were very happy with the finished product. This was our first renovation project and they were very kind and patient through the process. Prior to signing the contract they was able to give us an itemized list of everything we might want done and we were able to choose from there. We were never pressured or 'hustled' to do anything we did not. They are very reasonably priced especially for their quality of work. Always friendly, professional, and on time. The project was done on schedule and upon completion they were kind enough to give us some cleaning product for our new counter tops and additional painting prep supplies for the future. Again, highly recommend this company and we definitely plan to contract with them again in the future.

I hired Red Road to complete a face lift on the entire exterior facade of my house and to remodel my kitchen. I originally had an old beat up California Bungalow, which is now a beautiful Contemporary Mediterranean style home. I wish I had the forethought at the start to take pictures of the before. Oh well, I guess. Mark and his team were polite, punctual, and very knowledgeable. They came in under my initial budget and we only had 2 change orders, which was a relief as both change orders were requested by me. This was my first undertaking of a remodel and it was overall a positive experience. I heard so many horror stories, but that was not my experience. Although, Nick made a very valiant effort to educate me on the overall process, I wish I would have done more research on my own so I could have kept up a little better when picking my finishes. Thankfully Red Road saved the day when it came to me making timely decisions so we didn't fall behind. I would highly recommend (and use) Red Road in the future.

Red Road Construction has done Tenant Improvements in a commercial office building (office shell build-out), and extensive wood repairs (structural, safety & cosmetic) to an apartment complex that I manage. Their work has been honest, professional and of excellent quality. They are very helpful in identifying the best use of the budget, and completing work in a timely manner. I highly recommend them.

I was referred to Red Road from a neighbor who hired them to add a second story and remodel their home. I received raving reviews from my neighbor, and I also had a really good experience with the Mark (the Owner) and his team. The day my neighbor started his remodel, a project manager for Red Road went door to door to all the neighbors, including to my house passing out his card. Their P.M.'s, Nick and Andy, were very friendly and explained to us the time frame they would be working on the project and that if we had any issues to call him directly. I was surprised that I didn't receive a sales pitch. When I spoke to my other neighbor, they too were shocked that they didn't try to sell us on them either. As the job progressed, we would receive letters on our doors with a date and time frame of when they were pouring concrete, patching asphalt; essentially anytime they needed to disturb traffic access, or would need to utilize a large amount of street parking. Nick or Andy would come by confirm we were aware of the short disturbance and that went a long way with all the neighbors. I made it a point to contact Mark and let him know how much we appreciated the way he structured his company and its policies, as well as hiring such qualified and courteous individuals to represent his firm. He was far too humble if you ask me. When it came time for my wife and I to remodel our home last year, I was again pleasantly surprised with Red Road. When I opened the four bids I received, Red Road'd bid was a little more than 15% lower than it's competitors. It was an easy choice from there, knowing how they operate, and seeing their quality of work and my neighbors house. Needless to say, my project went smooth as can be. We had budgeted about $50k more than the bid we received from Red Road, so on top of now being able to live in our dream house, with the savings on the project, my wife and I finally took our dream vacation to Italy. I can't say enough good things about the Red Road team. They have truly blessed our family. Thank you, guys! On a side note, Red Road is now on our neighborhoods Annual Labor Day BBQ Invite List. We would highly recommend you consider Red Road Construction for a project of any size. They are not perfect but they are very good. Our experience with them involves not only our small remodel but a very extensive rebuild of our neighbors home. We are sufficiently pleased that we hope to work with them again on a larger remodel under discussion. What we liked about Red Road is they are very easy to communicate with, especially Nick. We thought their pricing was outstanding, as did our neighbors, and we were thrilled with the quality of their work. They left every area that they touched in better condition that they found it. For example when installing cabinets in our kitchen they exposed areas of the wall that need painting, so they virtually repainted our entire kitchen. They removed masonry work to expose an area of the foundation, and then rebuilt the masonry exactly as it had been tying it in seamlessly. They improved our electrical in the kitchen just because the wall was open and they could do so. In spite of the extras they afforded us there was no change in their original quote, and we paid exactly the sum we for which we contracted. There is a word of caution as regards Red Road. They have an excellent but small crew so be careful that they have the person power to assign to your job full time until it is done. Because they were working on multiple projects along with ours there were times when they did not have the skilled manpower to do it all and our work got pushed out longer than we would have liked. The three components (four if you include communication skills) are price, quality and timeline. We loved the price, and quality. Communication was excellent, never a surprise. But, be sure they can keep the timeline they promise you as we had issues there.

Since 2009, I have hired Red Road on fourteen projects. Most projects were substantial in size. They show up on time, do what they say they are going to do within the time frame given, and their pricing is consistently competitive. It’s very refreshing, not have to babysit them, knowing that when I come back from long business trips to look at the quality of work, my expectations are exceeded and I don’t have to generate a punch list that’s a mile long because they hit everything the first time around. Having worked with hundreds of contractors across the United States, many who have fallen short, I have started asking Red Road to go to other states for us, and that’s how highly I think of them. To elaborate, on a particular project in Hayward, California, we had to rehab the entire exterior of twenty-one apartment buildings within three weeks so that the owner and investors of our multi-billion dollar parent company could see the new exterior facades program we were presenting for all current and future projects on the West Coast. We called in Red Road, who at the time was already working on three other large projects for us as well. During the walk through with our entire division, including the president of our headquarters, who said there’s no way the job could be done in three weeks; Red Road said they could hit our target date, so we gave them the opportunity. They brought in a crew of twenty-five men, dropped the material next day, and completed the entire scope with no punch list items and without any complaints from any of the occupants of the three hundred and eight units we had on site, and they completed the project in TWO weeks. This had been Red Road’s fourth job for us, and the start of a longstanding relationship with our firm. Without hesitation, I would recommend them for any project, whether it be commercial, residential, high-end custom, or multifamily. We’ve hired them in all capacities and their firm has no limits. There is no better communication or organization skills in this industry, then that of Red Road’s.
