You and Rich were a joy to work with. Your choices on your house really changed the entire feeling of the room.
We look forward to working with you again as well.
Thanks again,

I am disappointed you feel this way. During sheetrock, while I was out of town, our project manager did fall well short of expectations. Hence, after your project and coupled with other short comings, he was subsequently let go from our company.
Prior to that and upon my return we were all over your project with support.
And as I explained to you, your cost over runs where only due to your selections of product and changes you made.
And on your overages, at our last meeting I gave a majority of your overages at or below cost in hopes of satisfying you.
You stated you were not getting any communication from our project manager in reference to pricing, but at the same time, you never let anyone in our office or myself know this was not being communicated. I have no record of your request for pricing on any selections or changes that would have clued us into there being an issue.
I am glad to see you liked the design and quality of work built into your project. I would have been surprised if you had anything less than positive to say about my guys or sub-contractors. My guys did not only do all the demolition and framing, but also completed all of the finish work including numerous items, i.e. going up on your roof to fix an unrelated skylight leak, which we did not bill you.
In regards to use of sub-contractors, why would I not use subcontractors? General contractors are not allowed to do their own electrical or plumbing. Sheetrock and paint is much more affordable for my clients when I have specialized workers that do the same trade over and over every day. This is common in our industry on jobs of your size.
Your statement of "EVERYTHING else was done by a third party" speaks well to the fact this is a "one off" outlier example of our customer experience, as seen by our previous reviews.
