Daniel (Sensitive Information Hidden) was recommended by a friend & he didn't disappoint! In my head, I knew exactly what I wanted for my bathroom & through trials & tribulations, he and his team helped me realize exactly what I pictured. When I called Daniel, he came out immediately & had a quote within a day. A lot of contractors won't even respond to a request to just renovate a bathroom. I got such a good vibe from his responsiveness & positivity that I didn't even get any other quotes. Throughout the process, Sabino, Jenaro (?) and Chui arrived on time and did everything with a smile, as did their tiler, Choco. And they really know what they are doing. When I freaked out because I realized I didn't like the bench tiles I picked out, they gave me options & calmed me down. They'd always give me their honest opinion, and they answered my zillion questions along the way. In fact, Daniel encouraged me to ask questions. Even once the job was finished (and paid for), when there were a couple of things I didn't love, they came back to fix them. I absolutely loved everything about working with Daniel - his responsiveness/communication (what contractor returns every call, text or email promptly - even if it's to say he's in a meeting but will call me in a bit), his encouragement & reassurance (don't worry - you spend every day in there - let's make sure you get the beautiful bathroom you want), and the competency, friendliness and reliability of his entire team! Home renovation can be incredibly stressful and expensive but Daniel was the right choice for us as first time renovators. He is a great communicator and always responded immediately to our calls and concerns. Everyone on his team was also professional and skilled. We are pleased with the results and are looking forward to enjoying our new home.

Daniel and his team were the best! My deck needed a lot of repair. He came by to inspect it and then got to work quickly. His team and him were very efficient and did a wonderful job, he was very communicative and responsive. Would highly recommend them!

We recently completed a large remodel project including a main bathroom remodel, a guest bath remodel and new LVT flooring for our first floor with Safe Side and we could not be more happy with the project or results!!! As both my wife and I are both working from home due to the pandemic, it was important that we work with a contractor who would be sensitive to our schedules and accommodating that we were still staying in our home during construction. After initially interviewing three different contractors, we made a decision to go with Safe Side. During our initial meeting with Safe Side, we made a really great connection with Daniel and felt he was 100% aligned with our goals and needs. Daniel provided a very fair quote and was very honest about the expected project duration and clear on project deliverables. Before the project started, Safe Side was extremely thorough with providing our list of deliverables and overall was excellent with pre-work/planning. Daniel personally came to our home 4 or 5 times to walk his different teams through job before even starting. Throughout the project, Daniel was very responsive and always available via text or a conversation. Daniel checked in often to give status and update on the remodel. We were never in the dark on where we were in the project and always knew what to expect next. This was very important to us and helped us feel at ease throughout the remodel. Daniel listened to our feedback and concerns along the way and was very flexible, even making changes mid-project to make sure we were happy. He treated our home like it was his home and made many great recommendations that went above and beyond our expectations. He provided valuable suggestions and recommendations but left it to us to decide and never pushed one way or the other (although he always had a solid opinion and rationale). Equally, we were very impressed with Safe Side’s excellent subcontractors. They were all very neat, polite, easy to work with and followed all COVID protocols. During the project, Daniel was present onsite often even if just for a half-hour to check in. He never hesitated to come over when we needed to discuss something even though the drive was sometimes over an hour. He felt very “present” through the whole project. Safe Side was very organized when it came to bookkeeping and billing. They always explained where we were in the project, what payment they were collecting for and made sure to mark both their invoices and ours so we also were tracking. At the end, the project was completed in the time frame that had initially been promised and the work was outstanding. The photos speak for themselves but definitely exceeded our expectations! Overall Safe Side was easy to work with and made the project super easy to live (and work) through. Most importantly, we absolutely love the final product and highly recommend Daniel and Safe Side for any construction project!

Reliable, Professional and High Quality Work. My go-to contractor for projects big and small. I cannot say enough about how responsive, reliable, and professional owner Daniel and his crew are. Daniel responded to my inquiries with a hour or two and was able to come and assess project needs within a day. He has been able to get a crew to start the repairs as early as within a few days. He takes all jobs seriously, even small repairs. They may not always be the lowest bid, but I can count on the quality of work, responsiveness to issues and reliability. We had a couple of emergency plumbing leaks this year and had to break the drywall and ceiling to repair the leaks. I called Daniel for the repairs. I got a quote quickly and he delivered exactly as quoted. His crew arrived on time as scheduled, laid down protection materials carefully and cleaned up debris when done. Both times, his crew finished the repairs in a day and finished painting the second day. They matched the existing paint perfectly, blending is excellent. One of the walls has a textured surface and only part of the wall needed repair. Daniel's crew did a great job recreating the texture look, it blended in so well. Looks just like the original. Last winter, high winds cause some damage to my roof and Daniel's crew came quickly to repair and replace the shingles. Daniel is a very experienced contractor and has good and practical solutions to offer. He is my go-to person for any work in the house and I highly recommend them. I have recommended them to friends. One of my friends had major remodel work done at her house and condo (exterior concrete paving, windows, skylight, flooring, kitchen). She is extremely happy with the work. I highly recommend them. Daniel and his entire team worked diligently on our office construction and remodel. We had an extremely tight turnaround of 1 month and a half. Despite delays due to COVID-19 and inevitable delivery setbacks, Daniel delivered his services in a timely manner to meet our deadline. He was patient with our changes as our project developed and was flexible with us every step of the way. My 30 year-old roof leaked last winter, and it was overdue to replace it. I sought estimates from four companies, and finally decided to go with Daniel Alon, the owner of Safe Side Builders. From the start, Daniel showed up to deliver personal service for my sweet little 1934 house in the Pico-Robertson neighborhood. As I discovered his passion for design and building, the original roofing job gradually turned into numerous projects. We added recessed lighting and ceiling fan in the bedrooms; a beautiful solar tube that transformed a dark dining room; put in new door and window to upgrade a shabby old garage; and painted the porch ceiling a deep sky blue. I am a highly detail-oriented customer, and whenever I expressed concerns and preferences, Daniel responded swiftly to ensure that the fine details were completed well. At the end of every single project day, he checked to see that I was satisfied, and that the property was clean. He has a rigorous commitment to customer service, and is also great with trustworthy guidance and smart advice. Clients can rely on him to envision the next steps to caring for their home. My house is happy!

Daniel and his crew installed an exterior window in our second floor home office and did an outstanding job. Great communication, competitive pricing, a pleasure to deal with. Definitely going with him for our next project.

When my mother in law decided it was time to renovate her old house, we were all nervous about the process and cost it was going to take to redo the kitchen and bathroom, floors, and paint . We did the research and luckily found Daniel and saw all his great reviews and felt safe in knowing he is a licensed contractor. He not only listened to what we wanted but also made suggestions of his own, such as needing a new roof and ac system that was much needed after so many years. I've heard a lot of bad stories about contractors taking too long or being hard to get a hold of because they take on too many jobs but that was not our experience. Daniel is available via all avenues lol (email, phone, face time , text message) and pretty much all hours and days. He responds quickly and works fast . No need to worry with him , you get your money's worth and I must say the pictures speak for themselves thank you !

Daniel and his team installed a gas log system in our wood burning fireplace. His team was professional, knowledgeable and showed up when they said they would. It really turned out great! I highly recommend Safe Side Builders!

Daniel and his company gave great service, was prompt, professional, great at communication and very fair pricing. He did not try and talk I said to doing more work than we needed but looked at the work we needed and give us options that made sense. We will definitely use him again!

Really appreciated that Daniel and crew gave as much attention to our small job of opening up a wall in our kitchen as they would have given full remodel. End result looks great, they were quick to complete the work before we moved in and were able to work around the many other projects going on at the same time.
