Sitka West Coast Construction with Tui Kanuka as its principal, was the Contractor for my latest major renovation project. The first meeting I had with Tui immediately gave me a very positive impression. Tui was straight forward and confident that he was capable of doing the work he was asked to do. Tui proposed a budget which was aligned with my thinking and we agreed. Tui introduced his sub trades already during our second meeting and provided me with a schedule for the project on an almost day to day basis. Sitka West Coast Construction delivered! Not once was there a ‘no show’ and the work was completed on time and on budget. I have done many renovations over the years. This one was by far the best executed and the quality was excellent. We did a 3 floor, full home renovation and from consultation to completion, we couldn't have been happier with Sitka Coast Construction. We had a leak in our upstairs bathroom that went through to the floor below. We ended up having a complete bathroom reno (floor tiles, wall tiles, tub, toilet, vanity), all while still living in our house. I had a fear of coming home from work to a house full of dust and tools everywhere, but to my pleasant surprise the area was kept clean and dust free. The crew was very polite and even worked extra hours and on a Saturday to finish the job quickly. We highly recommend Sitka Coast Construction for any renovations that need to be done to your home.

I had the pleasure of working with Tui and his team during our large kitchen renovation this summer. I am beyond impressed with their work ethic, time management and attention to detail. It was a very large project and Tui did a great job of being transparent about costs and the timeline, and he put my mind at ease during what could have been a very stressful time. If there were any issues he was easy to communicate with and went above an beyond (even coming over during off hours) to make sure everything got dealt with. The project came out beautifully, and on budget. I am so grateful for all the hard work Tui and his team did to make things go as seamless as they did. I am still in awe of my beautiful new kitchen.
