Dario Colantonio, the owner of Structures, is everything a contractor should be: a peron of integrity, of knowledge and of industry. He was accurate on costing, from the moment the new-build was a spot at the end of a back hoe, because he can read plans and drawings and understands the project from moment of the architect's layout. His schedule was kept to the day because it was crafted to his trades' availabilities and because of his accuracy of estimation of the stages of the work and his relationship with his sub-trades. City-mandated inspections were seamless with the work, because the quality of his work is a known quantity to the inspectors. His finished product was a quality product- Toronto Life's House of the Month in April 2014- because he did not skimp on finishes and because his sub-trades are so professionally adept in the own rights. I started out with a contractor and ended up with a friend.
