Steve is a wonderful designer! It is a pleasure to work with him on all aspects of the design process. His clients are fortunate to have such a knowledgeable and resilient resource. Whether it is new construction, a space that is being gutted and rebuilt or a space that incorporates new elements while implementing existing, he is able to bridge the gap and deliver what best suits his customers. Steve listens carefully to his clients and ensures their needs are met which is an invaluable part of the building process.

Steven Sutor is a wonderful, thoughtful, gentle person to work with. He listens incredibly well and works to your wishes. Many designers are immediately recognizable because of their personal tastes and preferences. Mr. Sutor is an extremely talented individual with great diversity and creativity. He can respect the budget of the client and work within it. He is a joy to experience.

Mr. Steven Suter does some of the most beautiful work I have ever seen. His architectural designs combining the classical lines of an historical property with the needs of modern life are phenomenal. He listens carefully to what the client wants, observes the clients life style and brings together the needs, dreams, and hopes of all involved. His designs are timeless and can be built on over time. He is a dear gentle, funny soul who makes working with him a joy. He goes out of his way to work with you no matter where you are.

I have had the pleasure of working with Steven for the past 10 years at Chambers. His pragmatic approach to a design dilemma turns a problem into a solution that is well thought out resulting in a space that is tailored to each individual client. As a designer myself I can say from experience that working within a restrictive budget is always difficult but Steven faces that challenge head on. Lastly, his sense of humor, quick wit and the encyclopedia of knowledge in that brain of his make working with him fun and easy!

I had the pleasure of working with Steven Sutor of Chambers, to transform my outdated condo into a sleek, fabulous place that I am proud to call home!. I had recently purchased the condo, and needed a update badly. Steven stayed within my budget, and had wonderful suggestions. He coordinated fabrics, colors and furniture that I am thoroughly happy with. Plus he worked so well with the contractors. He made it seem so easy and effortless. I highly recommend Steven.

My husband and I have worked closely over the past ten years with Steven Sutor, Senior Design Associate, Chambers USA. We have leaned heavily on Steven to help us transform our stately Edward L. Palmer, Jr., 1922 brick Georgian Colonial. Thanks to Steven and his well trained eye, we not only have a spectacular piece of architecture but also have a grand, yet cozy, home which provides comfort and respite from our busy lives. Steven is a delight to work with. His encyclopedic knowledge of history, design and fashion inform his design solutions. Steven is detail oriented, provides beautiful drawings and produces work in a timely manner. Beginning in 2003 Steven completely remade our dining room. From the ceiling (light blue), walls (spectacular shade of deep brown...Middlebury brown), window treatments, enormous mirror over fireplace, equally large gorgeous chandelier, ten upholstered chairs, sconces, etc, we are tremendously pleased! Each year since, Steven has tackled a room in our house. Needless to say, we highly recommend this talented, thorough, gifted designer.

Steven was so great to work with. He helped me pick all of my paint colors to match my kitchen renovation. The paint accentuates the counter top beautifully and looks great with my cabinets. Steven listened to everything I asked for and made his own reccommendations in line with the look that I wanted. He really made my vision come true!
